Great video! Purchased this ball a few weeks ago. Have bowled around 18 games with it and have struggled some with consistency. I'm a lefty, one hand, finger tip drill. No other adjustments to the ball out of the box. Main issue I'm having is coming in high quite a bit. Have moved right and find that if I get out to the dry side of the house shot oil the ball doesn't carry in. If I move left, I come in high quite a bit. I'm 71 so I don't have the speed I once had, coming in to the pocket at around 12mph. Will sanding the ball help? Any other tips for control with this ball? I will say that when I get my shot right, the power of the ball is amazing. BTW, 15 lb. ball. Thanks in advance for any advice!
@@tjsil99 I would try having your pro shop take the surface up to a higher grit to smooth the reaction out for you. That should help a little.

Just got one a few days ago. I’m a full roller and still it does exactly what you see in this video. Very smooth roll, reaction and drives through the pins. I love this ball !

In-person this ball is a nice-looking ball one of my favorites and it isn't mine. 😊My son was given this ball, no thumb, and going from a house ball to this, wow.. idk how someone can go try a new sport and be good at all of them. If we would had tried earlier years maybe he could had played a 4th sport in school. Lol

I want to ask, how forgiving is the ball in terms of release? I am working on having a better release but I gotta say I don't have it down, I seem to release the ball different every time and am looking for equipment that can offer some forgiveness in this area and if this ball doesn't do that then do you know what ball does? Thanks

I can't get the rotation down like that to save my life. And I know my total approach is a major problem. My local pro shop has guys that does travel on occasion and some of these guys on youtube. I've been bowling seriously for only a year and half and got top-shelf equipment and people tell me, it is me and not the ball. I know I need to learn more. Any help would be great. Thanks for the info.
I picked one up at the realease and I have been very happy with it. It goes in my league bag in between my Dark Web solid and my Scorpion Sting pearl. The Scorpion LF has a benchmark shape that is very predictable and repeating shots is natural.
This reminds me of my old Web Tour Edition hybrid. Same king of control. Heave it straight up 8 - 9 and watch it walk in!
Is it similar to Storm IQ solid(apple Crisp)? Or Envy Tour Solid? Optimum Idol solid(Easter Purple)?
I think it’s a little more rolly than the IQ but in the same level. It’s close from what I’ve seen in the optimum idol. It’s just below the Envy Tour as it is designed to be though.
This will be my next ball purchase for sure.

I like the Low flare because if im rev dominant one day because my back is being dumb or hip or anything that us slowing my feet down too much, it rolls good. If I'm speed dominant one day because of issues with my wrist or timing or thumb sticking, etc, it rolls good. When im feeling in tip top shape and i can max out speed and revs and smash pockets all day at 18mph using 4th arrow? Yeah its a great ball. Ive rolled it in heavy oil and light oil and it lets me play my comfort zones in both.
I want this ball i wonder how it compares to the envy tour solid
It’s similar but the envy is stronger or earlier and not as continuous through the pins as the low flare.
I now want this ball . Thank you. Just wondering you mentioned in the video so think you could do a comparison on this and the GB

Would this match up with the envy tour pearl as a step down ball? I really liked the hazmat in a demo day but ultimately chose envy tour pearl. But I liked the Hazmat so well I'm regretting not getting it.
The Envy Tour Pearl would be more Downlane it seems. The hazmat would get into the roll phase a little earlier.
I believe the Hitter first out followed by the envy tour pearl = high score.

It’s a pretty aggressive ball for a shiny cover. It is basically the same layout as my Black Widows and it seems to roll harder where the widows want to flip more.
I just got mine today pin down also.I had the pink with me also and give the ghost two more boards of hook.I think there is enough difference to play off of each other. Your thoughts?
Yeah. That’s about right. You could even hit the ghost with a 2000 pad to knock the shine off and give even more separation from the Pink to really let them play off eachother

You should try the obsession tour. It reminds me somewhat of the web tour. Of course there is always the web tour hybrid which is just a pinch earlier
