Thanks for the comment & thanks always for watching 🥰. So its been about a week since I reacted to this & I can say its made my 2024 playlist… for now. Unsure if it will last there but it has grown on me enough to make the playlist so thats something at least. I think this might be the trend of my year so far where some B-Sides have been better than the title track which is the case here with Red Velvet. Really like Night Drive from the album & I do like Last Drop also. I will say this was definitely RV’s style from the song to the weird and bizarre music that I couldn’t make sense of 😂. I think that is something SM does well with their groups since their groups tend to have a signature sound unique to them.

@@richardrichard4029 hopefully today, if I can get time to record with no background noise. I can easily record with background noise but it affects the quality of the video (hence why I didn’t have a video uploaded yesterday).

I think I prefer their early stuff but I think that they do need to experiment with new sounds & concepts. I think I don’t find Accendio as catchy as I should find it. I think Kpop gets a lot of influence from Western sound but Kpop will keep going strong I believe. Saying that, there is a decline to Kpop trainees so maybe the industry isn’t strong at the moment. I think Girl Groups tend to hit more than the boy groups so can understand your reluctance to explore boy groups.

@kiwireacts5116 mattyk, I'm requesting a reaction to baemon forever. It's a Banger! I think this song will seperate them from the rest of gen 5 for a stretch. It's O.O. but done the way that kind of song should've been done. The rap part is insane, and the vocals...superb. Also, tripleS suit dance to gnd...you'll love it. Thanks.

For me, I seem to be a sucker for a good disbandment song & I just love the vocals on this track. While I agree that they had a style, I think it held some of their songs back where for me, Shooting Star was more simple & clean compared to their other songs which really worked in this case. Are they staying as a 7 member group? Just because I have heard they are disbanding and I have also have heard that they are promoting as a 7 member group as you have mentioned so unsure what is going on there.

I don’t think I will invest too much into the members of triple s as I struggle to remember names of most groups these days who have a lot less members 😂. I find with Triple S that their songs are generally very catchy & I didn’t get that with Girls Never Die hence why I didn’t enjoy it as much as their other songs. Funny you mention iz*one as Triple S literally stole the beat of Fiesta for one of their b-sides (stole being the wrong word there as there wasn’t any controversy). Do I need to say it at this point, 3 year wait for requests 🤣. This joke will never get old but hopefully its not that long of a wait. As for Triple S suggestions: Generation Invincible Rhodanthe (Fiesta sound a like) Heavy Metal Wings Girls’ Generation Rising Just Do It

The talent is there & it was on full display with the choreo here & with their raps. Like you, I would like some softer vocals & potentially a concept switch but I’m not too worried if they don’t change concept.

I don’t think this song would be saved if it came out in October around Halloween time, its just not a good song compared to the songs I mentioned in the video. I think since they come back from hiatus with Slay, they lost their sound & appeal. Did like that they went all blonde for their comeback here.

I might be the only one thinking this but I get like 2000’s vibes from the song for whatever reason. The dance break was totally unexpected but was indeed fire. The album was pretty good too & had quite a few interesting collaborations. Visuals on point isn’t something I haven’t said in a while but the visuals were indeed on point. I just appreciate you checking out my reaction, so if you have to prioritise KPOP over my reaction I understand 😄.

Also the chairs add a fun element to the choreo so again groups should add more props to their choreos. Song still isn’t for me unfortunately, think I mentioned it was trying to be catchy but failed in my eyes. Considering the banger year they had the previous year, couldn’t help but be disappointed by this song.

Baddie for me got & is still getting the af treatment unfortunately. There is something about the chorus to Heya that is addictive & fun but I can’t help but feel something is holding the chorus back to where I can confidently say that Heya as a whole song, just isn’t up there with After Like, Love Dive & I Am. In terms of IVE as a group, I like the members but unsure if they will be cracking my top 10 anytime soon. Thinking about my top 10 groups & it might need a revisit. You have indeed fallen into a dangerous trap with buying albums. I have honestly been tempted to buy albums myself but have refrained so far.

I mentioned during some of my reactions last week that they should go back to the lore they had with the ae counterparts as I feel like they have become a fairly regular group who dabble into different concepts. Young Wild Free probably has some symbolism towards getting out of the legal battle with their agency. Didn’t know Wake Me Up was such a deep song by lyrics but you could definitely see it through the music video. It does take courage to write & release a song like this so credit to Yongguk.

I am planning on reacting to Supernova, I’m just deciding if I want to react to it just by itself or upload it with their comeback title track on the 27th. AESPA do have a sound that other groups cannot fully copy or originate. As mention in the video, I like Girls (just thinking without context, odd statement on its own 😂), it just doesn’t compare with their other title tracks. Like their other title tracks all hit but Girls just doesn’t have the same appeal. Savage might be my favourite from AESPA but does have some strong competition from Black Mamba & Spicy. Ok I will react to Triple S… just a 2 year wait please 🤣🤣🤣. Since I have nothing recorded for next Friday as of yet & I haven’t reacted to Triple S yet, I make a new group Friday so you don’t have to wait long for a reaction.

@@kiwireacts5116 ZB1 are a little hit and miss for me. Some of their songs I really like, but others are only okay. Their songwriters need to be more consistent.

@@kl2894 They definitely need some better songwriters, maybe take Wanna One’s since they are from similar shows & ZB1 did a great cover of Energetic.

I would categorise Purple in the good category, like it isn’t horrible but just let down by an average chorus in my eyes. As mentioned in the reaction, I was unsure on first listen of Blush but upon another listen, this song is so addicting & fun. Probably will end up in the top 50 somewhere. I get the feel like money is like slang for feeling good/great & makes sense with the song, my confusion came from the subtitles where it translated money to really. I feel like really??? Doesn’t make sense so was wondering if the translation was correct or the subtitles were wrong. I will let Woo!ah away with stealing Moonlight Sunrise from TWICE but I have my eyes on them 😳🤣🤣. They are racing up in terms of being one of my favourites groups but can understand that if they don’t promote much then they fall out of favour. For Me it was there Queendom Puzzle appearance that I started to really enjoy WOO!AH. That & Rollercoaster & Count the Stars being amazing songs. For WOO!AH, Nana & Wooyeon appearing on Queendom puzzle & Nana making EL7Z UP gave Woo!ah some much needed exposure so I hope they capitalise on that.

Sensitive is good but you know me, I don’t accept good and always look for better. Like it has its good elements but just lacks when it comes to the chorus. Girls’ Night on the other hand, loving it currently. I think it is the chorus that hits the most & makes the song. The MVs were great & did me leave intrigued for whats to come. Did I say Kim Lip was in Loossemble? Just because that is incorrect if I did 😂. She is in ARTMS & Odd Eye Circle alongside former Loona members.
