Amazing to think Dez was hearing this in his head whilst playing shit holes with Black Flag. This is light years from that. I didn't know what to think in '85. Big sounding progressive "punk" rock. Toxic Shock was the precursor to Slovenly Peter, which was the precursor to Slovenly.
