By Road (Approx. 140 km): Start from Mumbai: Head towards the Mumbai-Pune Expressway. Take the Mumbai-Pune Expressway: Drive along the expressway for about 80 km, until you reach Lonavala exit. Exit at Lonavala: Take the Lonavala exit and continue towards Pawna Lake or Mulshi. Drive towards Tamhini Ghat: From Mulshi, follow the signs for Tamhini Ghat Road. The scenic ghat starts after Mulshi Dam and leads you through beautiful greenery and waterfalls, especially during monsoon. By Public Transport: By Train & Bus: Take a train from Mumbai to Pune or Lonavala. From Pune, you can take a local bus or hire a cab to Tamhini Ghat (approx. 50-60 km from Pune). The best time to visit Tamhini Ghat is during the monsoon, when the area is lush with greenery and waterfalls. Safe travels!
