Bruh this shit is inspiring af, the music is killer and althoough Im a Steve Rodgers is Cap the one and only, Falcons journey unlike all the other heroes is way more earnest then the others, the fatws show was no where near perfect but I do like Sams journey and how he is simply a normal dude trying to push his limits and take on this role; thiis larger then life role of captain america and doing his best to live up to that. To me thats what makes him so fun to watch, his ability to push foward and face adversity and face the opportuniity gifted to him by Steve even if he rejected it at first.

I love how Sam’s version of Captain America is very different from Steve’s. Unlike Steve, he has no serum. Sure, Steve was given the serum, but Sam isn’t in the same situation. It’s all him, and what he’s able to do with his own willpower. There’s some things I’m not entirely sold on yet for his version of Cap, but I love the fact that he not only has to earn it physically, but mentally and psychologically. It’s a big responsibility, but just in the name sake. In all that it holds and represents. I’m very curious to see where Sam takes this mantle, and very excited to see him become The Captain America. With Brave New World on the horizon (and from what we can gather from the villains), this will be Sam’s test. The REAL one. If Red Hulk is indeed in the movie, that will be the test that will define him. David and Goliath. Rocky and Drago. Super Hyped.

I consider this a great arc for Sam. Most fans are living in the past and keep going on that Steve should be brought back. None have a good understanding on how a story arc works; Steve had a great one, but like Tony, it ended and he passed the mantle, like in the comics.

Love that moment at the end when Sam catches the shield. It's so epic. It's like taming a wild animal. It's like they have an understanding, and together they are going to do great things.

Now that's a real superhero. No Super Soldier Serum, no lab rat experiments, etc. Just pure natural testosterone doing its job.

What I love the most about this scene is that the story arcs of The Falcon and The Winter Soldier properly build up to it and make the moment feel completely earned and not feel too rushed. More than any of the other Disney+ mini series in my opinion, TFATWS showed and make us understand why Sam was so hesitant to take up the mantle of Captain America. It sorta came out of the blue when Steve decided to make Sam his successor, but this series showed us why he felt like he couldn't live up to Steve's legacy as 1 of the greatest soldiers and superheroes in history. It only became worse when the U.S government gave the shield to John and made him the new Captain America, plus the fact of what Sam found out about Isaiah Bradley made him even more insistent that maybe the Captain America mantle should be stopped. Although after seeing how the world needed someone like Captain America to unite them after so much negative aftermath events after the Blip and John's public murder of a Flag Smasher, it made Sam realize that he NEEDED to be Captain America if things were going to get better.

Call it woke and everything but the show was pretty solid IMO, had that Capt 2 vibe which is never a bad thing ever and thar Louisiana Hero soundtrack is pretty dope, worth listening while running or doing cardio

this one is meant to be super nice and cute (and it is) but somehow it also gives me these serious creepy vibes. am I the only one? it might be because this is the part when the comedy of the past “sitcom” episodes starts to fade away pretty quickly and things start to get serious. 😬. This series is a true work of art in my humble opinion.

Man Steve really made tossing that shield around look easy

Yeah that's great...except for several massive issue. See part of the reason this doesn't make any kind of sense is the fact Steve could always get the shield to come back because in addition to making him crazy strong and fast, the Super Soldier Serum also enhanced Cap's mental abilities to where he could perform all kinds of complex equations...like geometry and physics in his head in literal seconds, thus knowing exactly how to throw his shield at different objects so that it'd always come back to him no matter what. Sam...has none of that. He's just throwing the shield and it comes back because the plot says so, which really only serves to make Steve seem less impressive since he was by all accounts the one who could maximize the use of said shield. Additionally, there's the issue of how effective the shield would be. The Shield could do so much damage because it was thrown by Steven who could lift a motorcycle over his head and throw it several yards, meaning the shield basically hit with the force of a car. Sam however is again just a regular guy, meaning he can't thrown the shield anywhere close to as hard as Steve could, significantly weakening it's strength and speed. Then there's the issue of catching and throwing it. Steve again thanks to the Serum basically had unlimited stamina and increased healing, thus he could throw and catch the shield easily without slowing down or getting tired. However, throwing an object, even something that only weighs 10 to 15 pounds will get exhausting no matter how strong you think you are, especially if you're catching the thing as it's flying back at you at a decent speed, assuming you can actually catch it. Hell professional Baseball pitchers often times have to ice their arms after throwing a baseball multiple times during a single game and those things barely weigh anything compared to a shield the size of a car tire. Sam would maybe be able to get in a couple of shield throws and catches before his arms become borderline noodles due to the strain. Point being there's a reason Steve was Captain America, and it had more to do with the serum than simply being a nice guy.

Love how we see Sam ducking and seeing the shield coming back at him and being like "nope." Part of being Cap is knowing how to throw the shield so as to inflict damage but not kill, unless intended. There's a lot going on in this training session that we just don't think about.

How did She Hulk (who had no fighting experience at all) fight Hulk to a draw one day after becoming a hulk when Sam (who was already a superhero) had to train a lot just to be able to catch Cap’s shield?
