I have never heard why Drew and Switchfoot parted way's but that was a horrible decision. Would love to see a Return of Drew Tour!!
Drew
Drew Shirley el mejor
Man, this makes me emotional now that Drew's gone. What a legend.
Nice solo by drew
Good stuff.
Wow 😍😍😍😍😍😍🤗
This video is so fun and uplifting! Love it!
The discussion of colour in Inception was exceptional. Otherwise, did rather little with the premise of the video, because Nolan’s cinematography isn’t quite that big of a storytelling device for him as, say, Wes Anderson.
Good video on some parts the background music overshadows your voice and makes it hard to hear!
Bullshit. You understood too much.
Nice eye! How long have you been shooting?
How do you know it’s Christopher Nolan and not the Walley Pfisher use cinematography tell a story?
And the most amazing thing of it all is that Christopher Nolan Is color blind
Spoilers
loved it

Christopher Nolan has an ever evoving mind and his way of imagining human chracters and their behaviours has never stopped astonishing me. Being a Screenplay writer myself, I am amazed by his love of cinema and its craft.
awesome video... bro...
A most interesting analysis very well researched and business-like yet compelling narration. Lovely. I came here only because of Dunkirk. I am learning a lot.
Christopher Nolan is one of the all time best. It doesn't take a genius or film buff to realize this. it's a fact. Bottom line.
Would rather listen to my history teacher. Learn from nerdwriter dude
Top video 👌 cheers
I'll let you in a crazy secret. Cinematography is used in movies in order to tell a story. You heard it here first.
Very interesting video to watch; very boring to listen. Your way of reading is really annoying. Just an advice...
Thank you for posting this well done video.
nolan the best
great analysis.
You missed all the most interesting parts, such as rotating corridor prop and Nolan's hatered for CGI
MrWhiteman TV That has nothing to do with cinematography
Attempt to deconstruct a genius.. bravo brother!!
Great examination of Nolan's use of cinematography. I especially thought that the section about Nolan's use of colour in Inception was great. I'm an aspiring young filmmaker. Any tips for future reference?
Hardly an explanation of the cinematography of Nolan
Great analysis. I m nolanite loved ur video. Keep up the good work mate :)
Dude......you are misinterpreting it completely......this is your understanding which is not even close to Nolan.
song at 7:03?
time inception soundtrack by hans zimmer
One of the most interesting and informative breakdowns I've watch.
Matt Damon? The Martian?
That's a shot from Interstellar.
Connor Shortt Had no idea he was in that too. Crazy.
Subscribed. :-) Great work, man.
Nolan... doesn't use cinematography to tell a story...
That's a really deep analysis mate. Good one.
great analysis! thank you
What about Memento? So few remember that small budget mind blowing cinema.
Well done Davey :) Nolan is one of my favorite cinematographers. I truly believe that you deserve more subscribed and more recognition, not because you talked about Nolan, but because you made an engaging video :)
No disrespect to the genius that is Christopher Nolan, but this video should really be titled "How does Wally Pfister use cinematography to tell a story?"
You are right but the video title mentioned Nolan's name only because he collaborated with Wally Pfister till dark knight rises and Hoyte Van Hoytema from interstellar ,Dunkirk and Tenet keeping his own vision intact but since interstellar his use of colour tone has drastically changed it became more of greenish blue mixed with yellow
great breakdown showing how one of the greatest directors goes about working his magic.
What's the name of the soundtrack here? ^_^ Love this vid btw
So good!!
This video can be a bit unclear at times mate
good review....but.... just a little bit of equalizing is not dangerous :)
looking forward for more video essays from u, inspires me to do more film :)
