The first one I filled the roof & absolutely loved the tilt out windshield a/c. It felt like a welcomed tornado in the car. Without the roof all of my windshield air goes right up & out the roof hole and ya don't feel any breeze!! Add the sun & you're sitting in an upside down BBQ grille with the bows as the grate. Lol....Btw, over 'bout 55 or so raindrops won't come in the roof hole.lol....VERY MUCH looking forward to having a roof again though. I better go out in the garage & be productive today. Thanks for the video! Going to do the same to my dirty 30 with bags. Just remember that your 4 link arms need to be the same length down to the nuts or it won't work well. Don't your top angle links need to be stretched out more towards the front by your lower arms to form an (A)? Just pointing out that it looks like your jack stands were the old harbor freight specials that give out and kill people. If they are, they are recalled just so you know.

    • @g1gamanx
      @g1gamanx 2 года назад

      Great feedback, thanks Adam! There is a calculator online that helps determine the correct angles and link lengths, so the top and bottom have a relationship but it isn't always 1:1. As for the stands, they were replaced...good call!

    • @g1gamanx
      @g1gamanx 3 года назад

      Oh yes, I had to run 3" wheel spacers on the rear. No wheel spacers on the front. I had purchased the wheels from a guy upgrading his old Camaro so they were definitely not designed for an S10 swap. Had the right bolt pattern and I used spacers to get the stance I wanted. These wheels are Riddler 695 I believe.

    • @g1gamanx
      @g1gamanx 7 лет назад

      I'll be honest, I'm a newbie. I set the timing by watching the lifters in cylinder one and figure out top dead center. I then twisted the distributor cap clockwise until the firing sounded right. It took all of maybe 10 minutes and purred. I may need to get someone with a timing light to get it perfect, but I don't hear any knocking or anything so hopefully I am pretty close. I'd say I went to between the 1 and 2 o'clock position. Edelbrock 2116 and the Edelbrock 600cfm 1406 carburetor with electric choke

    • @g1gamanx
      @g1gamanx 5 лет назад

      I can answer this better now. Got a timing light and made timing tape using another video and some green frog tape on the flywheel. Currently set to 12 degrees advance and pretty happy with it.
