In 2019, I took a non-traditional approach for my students' recital! Instead of playing at a traditional church sanctuary or similar formal setting, they performed at a student open mic at a local coffeehouse! It ended up being a really fun event!

Common question: How often should a student have lessons? It depends. Children who are beginners need more weekly consistent guidance, while an adult at a higher level may need lessons once or twice a month for a period of time. It really just depends.
