1st craft show in the books. Here’s how I did.
I’ve been preparing stuff all year long for this show. I went to it last year just to help a friend clean up and decided that I would participate the following year. Within the year, I’ve purchased a laser engraver and a 3-D printer in which both I used to create inventory for this show along with just some basic traditional woodworking things overall it went well and I shot this quick video, hoping it inspires others.

Thank you for the video. What do you think about attaching the boxes to the legs without a shelf underneath?

Great video, as a woman I know I can do this because of how you explain it. That You because I am building my garden out this winter and summer, I want it to be my happy place. Will send a photo this summer 2024 for my new garden channel.

Thats awesome. It really is a simple build and looks good, I plan to make a change on the inside corners of the planter boxes to make sure it last longer. Mine is 3-4 years old and still standing, so thats good. The neighborhood cats love to lie in them. lol

I just accidentally found your video and I'm intrigued with your projects but I have a question. Do you drill drain holes in the herb boxes? I'm also thinking these could be built to fit plastic or even metal planting trays inside to help make the cedar last even longer. Just a thought. good job, thanks for sharing

I do predrill. As soon as the wood splits you need to make a new hole. Ive found taking the time to predrill works best. There isnt much meat there. The idea of plastic containers is a great idea.

Can you tape two boards together and cut two designs at a time? 👻

Yes, you can. Sorry for the delayed response. We have some family stuff going on, but all is well. I have tried cutting more than one at a time. I think it's too much for my old saw. I've reverted to one at a time. I have seen people cut as many as 4-5 at a time, though. I've used this one for about 4 years. It was given to me. I've made at least 1K with projects. It's time for me to invest in a new scroll saw. I eyeballing the Dewalt.
