As on April 11 2022, For all places (kanimarg-waterfall-dubyan-dunow valley-baisaran-kashmir valley) it is only INR 2500 max per pony. U may not be able to bargain below this rate. Govt rate for tourist traders is INR 2420 per person (for baisaran, dubyan, kashmir valley, and dunow valley). It takes 2.5 to 3 hours for all 6 spots mentioned. Although u may get good views, The 3 hour ride is really tiresome, and keeps u persistently distracted due to the steep rocky path plus difficult to photo/videoshoot. This is just my opinion and experience. May differ for others. Hope this helps. For 1250/1500/1800 rs rides, the riders take shortcut, plus they show fake spots (dubyan shown in 1800 ride is fake) , plus the stories that are made up during the journey, (ek teer do nishaane etc) are false. The upward movement is OK, the downward movement down the valley,is more risky and tiresome. By the time u r back,ur legs and back will hurt.

@@RohitBhat21 yes, the govt rates have been revised as on 1st April 2022, and openly available on google. INR 2500 was as per my experience, ur pony ride will last about 3.5-4hrs., covering all places, with sufficient rest in between. But it is a very tiring experience, and depends on the horse's skillset too, as the path is quite dangerous and tricky. (Ask for an Amarnath yatra horse if possible). Anything less that 2500 INR will be waste of money, as it will not last for more than an hour or so, with all fake spots shown on the other side of the mountain.
Hello I am the one disliker. Why i disliked? Because the horse ride might look very good but the horse treatment is beyond horrible. It may look amazing and adventurous but the horses are controlled by the horse owners and I have seen horses carrying heavy people and they were limping. I saw one abandoned horse in the streets of Phalagam whose knee was bleeding. These people simply used and throw the horses, they don't treat them well and who knows probably they eat the horse too. We need to know the reality, demand the truth 🙏
