This channel is for the Chronologically enhanced persons out there. We are both in our seventies and have had years of travel experiences both in and out of RVs. No extreme sports, no product pitching, no requests for money, just videos of our travels in our motorhome intended for the enjoyment of our friends and family. We may show some things we have found to be of value in equipment and places we have stayed and enjoyed but that will not be the main focus of this channel. Please understand that we are not professional photographers nor do we have a lot of great cameras and equipment. So please stay with us as we improve. Any positive comments or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

The yellow brick road refers to the Bible and the bricks are gold
Neat airplane museum 😎👍😃
Thanks it was fun
Looks like a parking lot...
I wish the camera was pointed where the tech was working
Amen brother
Our visit seemed so different. There is no paved trail anymore. At least not from the "RESORT". This no resort, while great for kids, there is nothing to qualify as a resort. RV park is a better description. Those RV slots s look big but it shrinks fast when all the large 5th wheels and Class A rigs get in. Too close for our comfort. There is no wifi...unless you arrange for it, cost extra. It is quiet at night. That road from Aberdeen to Ocean City is rough, bouncy, and narrow with no place to pull off and traffic get around.
Just found this video! You seem like such a sweet couple, and I loved your video
You might want to fix the name of the resort to Mesa.
Looks like a really nice place! We have come to the conclusion that because people speed in the park and refuse to slow down keeping the roads in bad shape will do more to slow you than the signs saying 10MPH!! One thing about television is that it is unnecessary! We have a TV but we use DVD to watch. NEWS is on the internet. This place is really nice!!
We try to go as slow as possible. We love going to this place but one bad thing and it may not be their fault. MY wife and I spend some time in the hot tub there and just after my wife got a very bad infection and we suspected the quality of sanitation in the tub. May not have been there but that was the last place we visited on that trip and used a hot tub. Thanks for you comments.
Fabulous :) !
Thank You. We had a great time there
Hey i am taking off this is our first stop in a 1979 class c I rebuilt on my channel hope you check me out
With a view like that who needs internet
Very nice! Thanks for sharing!
Thanks
Looks like a nice campsite. The old aircraft are cool. Did 20 years in the Army and still get fascinated by old military stuff.
Thanks for your comments. There is a lot more at the old hanger there that I did not show. Well worth stopping if you are in the area.
Hi Larry and Jackie! Great tour of campsite and planes! Big thumbs up. I hope you will enjoy my channel and become mutual supporters? Thank you
HI LARRY AND JACKIE! NICE CAMPGROUND AND PLANES! BIG LIKE AND NEW SUPPORTER.
HI YOU GUYS ARE INSPIRATION ! LIKE 4 I LOVED YOUR COMMENT ON WAYNE AND INVITING YOU TO MY CHANNEL I HAVE MY MOST POPULAR VIDEO YOU MIGHT ENJOY?
Wow planes that is paradise for me! :)
Thank you for posting the video and it looks like you received some great information from those two. Safe and fun travels you two :)
Yes Nicholas they gave me some great advise and now 5K miles down the road the tow works great and what they did was excellent. would recommend them.
Was the sirens part of the museum or were they fire alarms from outside?
Were in kind of a tent part of the museum. I am not sure if it is always like that or not. They were moving something on the other side of the place we were in and I guess that is what you are hearing. There is so much there I could not show it all in one post.
Was that in Washington or Oregon? Thanks for sharing.
It was on the coast of Washington state. Near the town of Ocean Shores.
RUclips vlogging is not your thing.
What year is your Smartie?
It is a 2013
Thank you!
I'm in the process of looking for a source to install my towing package on my Smart Car. Can you share the approximate cost of getting the work done. Especially the face plate. Thanks in advance.
Yes, I will tell you what I spent getting it done at the Roadmaster factory. It was approx. $3,500. I could have done it cheaper but got just about everything they were selling. I only wanted to do it once. As I had everything done there I have no idea what just the face plate and I think you are talking about the tow bracket that goes on the car. The Smart car is one of the most labour intensive cars to set up as they told me there in the factory. It was supposed to take 5 hours for the car and two hours for the MH. Turned out to be almost 2 full days. They let us live in our MH and took a lot of time to make sure it was done correctly. I did have a problem with the Smart car on our first outing. When I disconnected, it would not get out of Park. So there we were with our MH in our space and our Smart car stuck on the road and people coming into the park could not get around us. I did everything I was supposed to do according to the wright-up I was given and my notes but nothing worked. No cell or internet service at the park and we were pretty much stuck as to what to do. I fiddled around and around and suddenly it started and I moved it. Going home everything attached just fine, but when we got home the same thing happened. I could not get it out of Park. I called the factory and they had me do the severl thing and finally we wired around the cut off switch on the battery but still, it would not move out of Park, but I knew it had nothing to do with what they did at the factory. So what was the problem you ask? Well as stupid as it seems a floormat on the driver's side got jammed up under the brake pedal and the car's computer required that the break is pressed to start in park. I moved the mat and wouldn't you know it started right up. I tell you the story just to give you some information that no matter how screw-up proof you try to get a system with all the bells and whistles, some old fart like me can mess it up.
I hope you get your tower fixed
Looks like you had a fun trip but it always makes me nervous when I see you drive the RV in traffic. I could never do that:)
Makes me nervous as well. Believe me what didn't look as bad as it always is. White knuckles.
Does the Trans "N" light need to be out before turning off the battery switch? My Smart display goes out in about 30 seconds but the "N" light does not go off for 5 min. Does the "N" light need to be off before the battery?
Well according to the Smart car manual, when towing, the power to the vehicle should be off completely. Obviously, if there is power to make the N illuminated, there is power still on. That is why they want us to have a kill switch on the battery. Yes, you turn the ignition switch off and wait for about 30 seconds until the display goes blank and then switch all power off from the battery. I use the auto switch from Roadmaster but there are manual switches you can buy on the internet. I am not convinced that having all power off is really mandatory, maybe just a safety feature, but Smart recommends it so I do it.
Thanks for the reply. I am aware of the need for the battery switch and have one installed (manual). May concern is that the trans "N" light does not go out as it does when I can turn the key completely off. Because the trans is in N, the key will not go full left to the off position, it stops just short of off but turns the engine etc. off. The "N" light normally goes off right away but with the key just short of full off the "N" light stays on for almost 5 minuets before turning off. My concern is, do I need to wait the 5 min for "ALL" lights to go out before turning the battery switch off, or can I just turn the battery off after the inst panel display goes off?
John yes I am aware of the problem with the ignition switch not going all the way to off with the transmission selector in the N position and not having the car in P or Park. I was told that on shutting everything down, that all I had to do was wait until the dash went blank and then I could push the switch for the battery off. That is only about 30 seconds. The procedure in the manual seems to indicate that is correct. After the switch is switched to off, the N goes out and there is no power in the car other than that provided from the couch. By the way, I think it is a good idea not to have the electrical connection connected from the couch until this is done. Then I connect the power line and test the lights to make sure all is working as it should with only the power from my motorhome doing the work. Now for reconnecting the power. I put the battery switch again in the ON position, I go out and disconnect the tow bar and wait for 5 minutes before I try to start the car. Of course, I have the emergency brake on so it does not roll away. You will hear all the relays and stuff clicking on and the dash will light up. But the important thing is that it takes at least 5 minutes in my car. I have tried to do it in a shorter time, but it does not work and I have to start all over again before I can get it in the P position to start the car. John, I hope this helps you. I have only had it in my car for a short time. I have a manual switch in the car just in case the automatic switch stops working. I have heard of reliability problems with it and in fact, as the video shows the first one they put in failed. The technicians said that was uncommon but I wonder. A $350 switch should be reliable and as I live close to the factory if it fails we are going there to have a long talk with the crew. Which by the way are a great group of folks to work with. So far everything I have gotten from them has been top notch.
Thank Larry...Safe Travels and enjoy your Smart
Very nice house! Thumbs up from Ireland! :)
I'm glad you were ok!!! It makes me nervous thinking about you having to drive in situations like that

Thank you Larry for sharing this with me. God bless you and your dear family.
Wonderful
Thanks for complement. Will be packing up the motorhome and heading South soon and will post the trip to see our new great granddaughter Adaline. Thanks again.
Please excuse the video we made before we had better equipment. Please look at it on the larger format. This is really meant for our children so they can see the travels of their parents.
That looked like a nice place-what kind of camera do you use?
I was using two GoPros but they are not working that well. Will still use them dash mounted but walk around stuff will be with an I-Phone 6 and my Nikon, I just got. That video I am imbarresed about as I tried to use U-Tub to take some of the shaky stuff out and it messed it up completely. I am getting better as time goes by. Looking forward to taking more and posting about our trip to see you guys later. Love you all.
I like your RUclips channel Grandpa :) keep making videos!
Im in that video lol
Yes you are in many of my posts and look for more in ones to come out.
