I think another mouse you would really love is the Pulsar V3/V4 in size 1 or 2. So if you get the vaxee and it feels just a little off, I would encourage you to try the Pulsar v4, or the v3 (I bet there will be really good sales on it this holiday season). The E1 is in my top 5 for Ergo's for this year, and will likely be in my top 3. (edit: And thank you very much for the comment and your support. I love hearing the adventures of people on their way to finding their perfect equipment.)

I think trying to create a slower feeling with skates might be a good solution for you. I am a fan of the obsidian dots to achieve this in most circumstances. I think the Jupiter Pro is a great slow control (mud) pad, but I do believe at $70 it might be wise to get some slower skates to hold you off long enough to get that type99. There are also some new pads coming out from Zowie, that could provide some much needed life into that space.

Yikes! Apologies about that, thanks for the feedback. All hardware and software levels, including gain, were all the same as usual - mic positioning was a little different due to the nature of it being an unboxing - I think the biggest thing was I was really sick while shooting this. Dry mouth that just could not be quenched.

@@FragWatch all good man. I’m overly sensitive to lip smacking and that kinda stuff. ASMR makes me feel ill. It’s probably fine for people not wearing headphones. But with them on the sounds get injected straight into the brain.

It's an understandable complaint. I struggled with that when I was younger. The experience of being in Japan for two longer periods, and then having kids..... well both are just brute force break downs of it bothering me as much anymore. To this day though - Put me in a quiet room with someone eating a banana, and you know I'll start humming a song to try and drown THAT noise out! I feel ya man! Cheers

They have some differences but I think you will feel right at home on the Wallhack SY-001 if the QcK Heavy is your cup of tea. The increased durability and overall quality of materials I think you will notice immediately! Also it will stay in place on your desk a lot better.

Wallhack SY-001 Pad if those are the only two options. I do implore you to consider the Artisan Type 99 or for a little less money, the Kurosun Samurai. If you are willing to step way out of your comfort zone, you could try the Wallhack new glass pads (SP-004) - I am having a blast on mine, and playing some of the best and most fluid CS / Aimlabs I've ever played. Thank you for the question! If you can find it at an affordable price and your Zero is already wearing down, then I'd say it's going to be something you will enjoy. The Zero and Hien are just too rough on my skin for me to enjoy them, and if you're having that issue as well but love how they play, the Type 99 is going to give you a very enjoyable experience.

It's not as bad on the type99, but it is still an issue. It's easier to clean off than the hien and zero for hair, but it is more difficult to clean small debris off. That's in my experience at least.

I can understand the feeling, I think around 250 hours that will likely happen to a degree. I do feel it enhances the feel of the mouse overall, to a small degree. Is it worth the premium? To me, yes - to most, probably not.

@@FragWatch apparently the creaking/popping of the scrollwheel is "normal" according to their CS (Frank from Lamzu) something to do with tolerance range (not sure what that is)

So a tolerance is a range of functional acceptability in the measurement of certain dimensions, actions, or properties. I would imagine the issue is being caused by some of the mice that made it past Quality Control to be at the extreme ends of their set allowed tolerances, and I bet if they are getting complaints they will tell the factory to bring those down (meaning future batches won't have the issue). I personally haven't had the issue, but a simple web search pulled up enough results to show its likely happening, but doesn't seem to be a big issue - more of an annoyance. I'm actually really impressed with the scroll wheel. I just released my long overdue initial impressions video on it! Go check it out - I have more hours on it than I put into typical reviews - and I personally love the thing.

@@FragWatch thanks for getting back to me! I am getting back into counter strike. I use a very relaxed claw that’s almost palm grip. Mouse pad is a qck heavy. I haven’t got anything new since the whole move to super light got popular.

@@brandon8217 I would say a Pulsar v4 size 2 will suit you well. It will have a comfortable feeling and help ease you back into the saddle. If you want to save some money, get the v3 (I am positive there will be killer deals on it this holiday season). And while the QcK Heavy is a GREAT mousepad, one of my all time favorites (I think I've owned like 13 of them over the years), I would recommend looking at getting a better pad. Thank you for the comment. This will work just fine for CS and Valorant. It would not be in my top 3 for those, but it is one of my favorite balance pads of the second half of the year. I would say, if you love the design, are on a budget, and don't mind a balance pad... Then get it. The key caps look fantastic when paired with it as well, for some extra wow factor to your set up.

It will offer about 50% more control. I would have personally gone with xsoft, but the soft will help it retain some balance properties and be easy to adapt to. Please let us know how you like it after a week of use!

Thank you for the question. The poron used in Artisan pads is far superior to the material used on this pad. The firmness will feel about the same as an artisan soft, however the rebound and consistency however be a degraded experience from an Artisan.

@@arii923 Thank you for the question - I would highly advise NOT getting the PURPLE WLMouse Pad. If you want a pad from WLMouse, get the one with the Dragon Art printed on it, it plays dramatically different than the purple one. HOWEVER, with Zowie's new set of pads releasing, I would wait for those, look at some other options (Kurosun Samurai) or get an Artisan. What mouse are you using, with what games - and what is your general dpi/sensitivity?

@@FragWatch I'm using the Viper V3 Pro and play only Valorant. So far, I’ve tried the GSR2, ESP Tiger Tangdao Poron, and Saturn Pro in that order. I play at 81.96 cm, which is equivalent to 1600 DPI with 0.1 in-game sensitivity (160 eDPI). I prefer mud pads

Check out my reviews on the Jupiter Pro and the Artisan Type 99. I think those will suit you well. The Saturn Pro and Tang Dao for me felt on the fast side of control, well towards balance. You can also try changing skates to something control oriented.

For small and medium hands, it's in the top three of the past years releases for sure. I'm pretty confident it will be my #2 or possibly #1 for claw grip.

I do not yet have experience with Aria line. My initial impressions of the Maya X I'll put out as soon as I have my voice back a little more! I have enjoyed it so far, the shape I think could use some improvements for sure.

Don't envy me! It is a difficult thing to change gear every week, and have to use different styles of grip with each piece of gear. When I'm testing gear that is crap or even mediocre it is hard to push through and give each piece it's full 25 hours for review (7 hours of initial impressions). When I've used the best out there, and genuinely love it - it's hard to test the worst out there! What pushes me through that, is knowing that I might help other people never have to bother with crappy equipment! Thank you very much for your kindness and support!

I think the Dex and Maya are equally comfortable, and equally weird feeling at first. The Viper is a tried and true shape but comes at a cost. The Maya is the best value, so it's likely going to be my recommendation.... If those are the only three options.

@@FragWatch i didnt encounter the same problem with you in aliexpress. came within 7-10 days estimated. regarding the mousepads, i dont know why but aliexpress are advance when it comes to models they have the new versions and pro compared to official website wherein its always out of stock.

If you are willing to pay $20-$30 dollars more a pulsar v3 or x2 (last years models) in the size 2 variant (or size 3 if your hands are really big) - I can imagine the prices coming down for black friday / Christmas to about $70. As far as under $50, I have very little experience with mice in that price point - but something I need to expand to!

I made that comment last night and then just went to amazon to buy it, I've played a few games on it and I love it, I've switched from a G502 so the weight difference is massive, it feels so much quicker that I ended up turning my DPI down, I've used 1600 for years but I went to 800 with this

Smooth with low force requirements. Not a lot of audible feedback, but a decent bump on actuation. Overall it's one of the easier to actuate middle mouse clicks, and the scroll wheel itself is rather soft to the touch! Thank you for the question! I hope I provided some help! That is a tough one. Have you taken a look at the purple colorway for the Maya X?

Think it's largely gonna come down to if you want lighter weight/open bottom or slightly heavier/closed bottom.

These are two things that are big differences. I felt the XM2w shape feels a little more bulbous and full in hand with my hand shape. My unboxing video I just recorded of the Maya X should release in the next 24 hours!

Really comes down to what kind of shape you prefer, as these two are VERY different. Maya X is more like a gpx with a generally safer shape, but xm2 has a wide back hump with very curved sides, so it's oriented for claw grip. It's very hard for anyone else to tell which shape you would prefer, but you can kind of figure it out from looking at the past mice you have used and what you have liked.

@@greippuli9166 This is a great response! Your hand size and grip range and preference should always guide a mouse buying decision. Unless you are wanting to try a different grip style that you typically don't use. I think muscle matting on the pads of your palm and fingers is a HUGE factor in comfort level for different shapes and grip styles.

At 179 Euros I would say, don't do that. So the biggest differences going from v2 to v4 are the polling rate, the switches, the endcoder and the solid body design probably being the most noticible to most people. If you want to save some money the regular v4 just released to the public yesterday or if you want to save even more... get the v3 and a 4k polling dongle. :) I have yet to review the Zowie U2, but it is one that I am interested in!

mouse shouldnt cost over 100€

This is a limited edition, why would you factor in cost into this now, it is meant for the highest bidders, also has the custom 8K dongle and figurine included. There is the regular Xlite V4 if you want something "ordinary".

So I couldn't find my leather spray, but I did have some wood cleaner/conditioner that I used on it... omg it feels so much different now while retaining all of the properties I liked about it before.

The effect of the wood conditioner spray wore off after about 3 hours of use. I need to get a new thing of Leather Conditioner for my couches, so I'll get that at the store and use it before a final review is made.

Its really hard to articulate what feels different - but it feels different slightly shape wise. I seem to be able to claw grip a size 2 more easily with my 16.5x12.5 hands, and I've been spending the past 10 minutes trying to figure out exactly what the shape changes were made. The paint coating on this edition is SWEET feeling. Some parts are like just very partially raised, it feels so neat.

I was not a fan of it at all. Even if you find it really cheap, I'd advise you to get something else!

Unfortunately shipping prices are just insane right now. Shipping it will cost 25 bucks if you live close. In about six months I planned on selling lots of pads that I'd sign if desired on ebay. Black Friday deals are coming up!

Its super unique to use, and much better than I thought. Some skates and skate configurations don't work well, but most seem to so far!

I should have my review the Pelz out tomorrow morning - but to be brief - even on sale for $30 bucks, currently I think there are better pads out there if you are looking for a speedy but controlled cloth experience. My pad has a plethora of issues, and seeing that they are selling many open box items of them....the problems are likely not isolated to me. I would not recommend the pelz at this time.
