Ibanez Low-End Legion 2020: Joseph Oxspring, Rotherham, South Yorkshire, England
My first ever 'proper' instrument was an Ibanez SoundGear bass back when I was like 12 or 13 so I could play in a band, so I obviously have a pretty strong feeling about Ibanez products. I'm really not the 'solo' sort of bassist, as you may be able to tell from this entry, but I thought it was worth a shot!

My cover of tommy-gun by royal republic (Both guitars). Quality isn't too good because it was filmed with a front-facing ipad camera, so yeah, sorry. Don't expect this to get very many views, as RR are not too popular, but I love them and it is fun to play. May do dome more RR covers, some off the new album, if i can be arsed. Enjoy :)

I feel like bass solos always work best when they are thought of as just really flashy riffs. Keeps the beat going and has enough action to be labeled as a solo. I really liked the part in B you got there, good luck!
Thanks Dude, I totally agree. I was so close to not posting this because of all the great technical solos already up, but I'm much more of a 'songwriter' and am not really very good at 'soloing' in the classical sense, so I really appreciate your kind words!
@@JoeOxspring I feel the same myself, I've never even tried soloing before but I feel that songwriting really is my strong suit. These kind of compositions are a really great opportunity to step outside your comfort zone. I feel you could write great solos with your sense of melody and tension/release!

I spent the whole of the weekend in 2012 backstage and it was incredible. Haven't been back to download since. Don't think I can face being in the normal camping, with no access to the backstage area, free beers, free meals and front of barrier view. Stood between Corey Taylor and Matt Heafy having a piss and was like wtaf! Then had dinner with Chase and Status! Epic weekend!
