Performance mode introduces frame gen strobbing effect and input latency, to achieve 60 FPS much like PC. Go and check DF latest console review for Wukong. Quality mode looks good, but has improper frame pacing, may get optimzed with further patch.

They never recommended cinematic mode, they only talked about RT Ultra until they separate the options, already at low the shadows are much better. I’m on the fence on which route should I go. On one hand, I have an RTX 3060TI with an i5-9400f, but I’m scared the CPU will bottleneck. On the other hand, I can just go with the PS5 and play it on the TV.

But who believes you? I don't know if it's better if it's true or not, either way it's absurd...

I have a gaming pc with rtx3070Ti. I still prefer ps5 because easy to play on my tv with friends. Performance is not the only thing when I play games. Pc can run better if you make the right settings and pc version do provide more options than ps5.

I get double your fps with a worse GPU on high settings. Sounds like user error to me.

Dude your 3080ti is way stronger than ps5 use the same settings as ps5 and you will have double the performance, ps5 is equivalent to 2070super/3060 just use the same settings

Performance mode on ps5 runs at 1080p at 55-60fps at medium-high settings compared to pc. I would say that if you have a pc with a rtx 3060ti or better go with that, otherwise ps5 is fine.

It seems to use software lumen even in quality mode. All the reflections I checked seems to be screen space

@@kostas7nik367 I would say the RTX 3060ti performs better than the PS5, it’s the first game the developers of Wukong are making for console, so it doesn’t have the best optimization. The raw power of a card like yours makes it a better place to play, PS5 does have a better achievement system and I prefer to play laying down instead of on a desk, but I believe you’ll have a great experience on both platforms.

It’s generally known that higher frames are perceived as better performance over a sharper picture but low fps. I always turn on performance mode regardless of the fact that it’s a tiny bit less sharp. You don’t notice it while playing at all. I’m all for high end PCs but to spend $2000 on a 4090 just to have a marginally better picture at a lower frame rate is absolutely retarded when you can just use a ps5. Now with the 5090 that’ll change.

Performance is where it should be. If you disable raytracing the gfx are still way better than on ps5

Probably because console players like to throw out these massive numbers to make pc seem prohibitively expensive. It’s really like half that will last you a console generation and a half. Much longer if you play at console equivalent standards.
