Small displacement Kawasaki's (Ninja 400, ZX4R, ZX4RR) all share the same transmission, and there is a problem. The shift rod is long and unsupported. Over time and aggressive use, it can bend or even break! Installing a Shift Rod Support bracket takes about 5 minutes. It improves the shift feel and prevents a potentially expensive repair.

While the ZX4RR is a fun bike, it is prone to false neutrals when using the autoblipper to shift down. In my case, it happens when I go from 3rd to 4th on the track, which is not a fun time to lose drive.
