It was fun. It was Christmasy but also not so much that it was too much. Action was pretty fun. Enjoyed the creative takes on Santa and all the fantasyesqe/Christmasy-legend stuff. Always fun seeing Evans play a shady character. Agreed, DJ had a bit more of a character arc & emotion in this than he typically does. It didn’t need the half-spoken F-bomb. Better than being fully spoken, but still unnecessary. Theology was a bit wack…on the one hand, it’s a goofy fun action Christmas movie, but also, messages are still messages, to be received/rejected/redeemed. I really enjoyed it. Looking forward to seeing it again.
