You could just pay them the additional 20c per hour or offer them a project completion incentive. People leave jobs because they don't feel like their skills, expertise & contributions aren't being valued. It is difficult to escape thought that labour hire companies demonstrate a tendency to thrust blame onto the workers instead of adopting a critical self assessment of they way they themselves look after the workers. I have been doing a driving job in melbourne for 7 months on UK driving license (UK license is manual as standard) so when moving to WA next year for FIFO mine work are you saying that this will not suffice? Even though it’s legal to drive manuals in Australia on our license under working holiday visa?

Is this considered a "Catch 22" if you're unemployed, but you submit job applications everyday to become employed, but nobody will hire you because you're unemployed?!? What if you've been submitting job applications for a year or more and you haven't been hired in the industry where all your education and experience is? Would your advice to that person be to give up on that particular profession and find a new industry and start over from scratch? These aren't meant to be rhetorical questions, they're honest questions to help people understand the mindset of job recruiters.
