The Jesus Lizard - Falling Down - Manchester Academy 2 - 8 January 2025 11.1.25 was it a gud un - the gig, i mean? those days have passed, though (refer to the once mighty jesus lizard) - so you should have seen it in the 1990's, then, when i managed to break through the barbed wire DHSS fencing and have some fun... and puts the wanks from ticket tout fame (refer to the miserly oasis) who want to charge 5 times as much for ticket to see an alleged professional outfit put on a professional show. the connection of oasis and jesus lizard being: the boardwalk of manchester - as was.

I saw them the night before in Glasgow. Brilliant!

@@donniebobb74 The Jesus Lizard - Falling Down - Manchester Academy 2 - 8 January 2025 14.12.25 0348am in a country full of dorks thrusting out their hips for no apparent reason...one feels they've tried to incorporate some innate twitch into their overall gait and demeanor... akin to the dude who stumbles, when walking to the local store, and then feels compelled, due to his innate embarrassment, that such a stumble needs to be seen as part and parcel of his walking strategy - i would say, nay, will say - trynna teach the knuckle dragging savage about the virtues of rock (n roll) over an actual rock is just gonna fall on deaf ears. people who wear or carry leopard skin appendages... yeah, you know.... those guys. mentally defunkt types. they're too blame... they've no interest in anything musical like this but want to control the scene...which, i surmise, means 90% of the audience at a latter day jesus lizard gig are just as described. not being latter day, myself, i can say that the early days - i did attend the head tour - was pretty much where the energy and drive lay. jeeez....... i need not consult the jesus lizard book to note which gig was when - as some are doing.... and those guys aint even listed all the gigs jesus lizard played at the boardwalk, manchester - irrespective of how long it took to compile that particular tome. tut-tut!!! it's old it's pretty much their swansong. and i had the same inclinations to seeing shellec a few years back. as much as it means or meant something - there's no point me kissin' ass cos i can or cos it's expected of me. there you go, mate, if that's all there is then a person is pretty much going to have some deeper feelings for such matter - however shitty the music was thought to have been by the 90% of the present-day audience. i weas supposed to state that it's all in the middle eight, maaaaaan.. but.... it aint. free LSD at a scratch acid gig might have meant more to a music lover as opposed to someone who had just stumbled by...

@@simonorton I use an iphone13 which is what a lot of stuff in my channel was filmed with. Some arena shows I used a Sony HX99 compact camera. What a great gig it was!
