I think beach boys fans can love this album with a retrospective view. But imagine being a pop album buyer in the 60s spending your hard earned cash expecting beach boys pop and rock and you hear hero's and villains which blows you away then right after your hearing lofi veggie song and after this all sorts of odd sounds! I can imagine the anger by teen-agers at the time 🤣
