This “Intel Core i5-4590 Desktop CPU Processor” is an i5, 4th gen. It’s compatible with the Inspiron 3847. You can find them on Amazon relatively cheap. Intel i5 - a.co/d/0dfSaZRt Intel i7 - a.co/d/0dgowAaP If I were you, I would go with the i7. It’s still cheap, if not the same or less price, and it has better performance.
