You are more experienced dueling than the hunter .. forcing you to use your ice blocks are key here also viper sting up alot of the time is important while making sure hunter doesn't break his trap with it .. I spent most of my time dueling mages because of their mobility so many ways and tactics even if mage gets into dead zone it can be to a hunters advantage if he knows what he is doing and had decent 2 hander with a nice explosion trap or imolation trap .. swapping to serpent sting if mage moves to outside dead zone.
