Yes the difference is this in the review grand deluxe is in the wing, one of the two sides, with partial sea view. You have to be on the side or balcony to have proper sea view. Sea view rooms are in the center of the building so they have full sea view when standing in any area of the room.

@@ozbolli if you get the club rooms, they have extra sound proofing compared to the standard rooms. You won't hear the Barasti bar in a club room.

The hotel does have veg options and typically one rotating Indian veg offering. It is best to connect directly with the hotel to find out what menu options they currently offer

Hi Mdm, the hotel is close to the Al Jadaff metro station. You need to take a taxi (3 min) or walk (15 min). I do not believe there is a shuttle at the hotel.

Yes - even the standard room, the studio is like a junior suite in other hotels so quite spacious. The location is a 15 min drive to dubai mall and you would need to take a taxi or rent a car as there is not much yet in the area of the hotel.

This is the corner suite, there are two on each floor.

Hi Jeng, to my memory they do not have bath tubs just showers in the bath rooms. The larger suite has similar bathroom set up as well. Click the link in the description to go to our website where you can see more pictures of the bathroom too.

It is due for an upgrade soon! It was one of the first hotels in the area and is almost 10 years old.

It’s the flan at BRIX it is a dessert restaurant at Time Out Market. They change the restaurants from time to time so it might not be there anymore :(

It is called the Deluxe Suite, with views of the Dubai skyline.

It has a safety lock, so could not go out. I assume they do not allow them to be opened at all by guests due to the height but most hotels usually make guests sign a waiver then can remove the safety lock.

Yes, Al Jaddaf area is still up and coming - there is not much in the direct area, though Festival City is 10 minutes away as well as Dubai mall about the same distance in the opposite direction by car. Likewise Al Mina does not have much around the hotel, from a direct walking point of view its is mostly surrounded by mid rise residential buildings. The rooms in the Element Al Mina are slightly smaller than the Element Al Jaddaf. Both properties have the same very simple continental style breakfast. Out of the two, my preference would be for the Element Al Jaddaf - felt it was more polished as the Al Mina property is brand new so still working out some opening issues.

The Element Jaddaf is more crowded, seems they book groups (sports) at times. The Al Mina hotel (at least last month) was less busy as they are still in soft launch mode. The Element Al Mina also shares gym and pool with the Aloft, whereas the Element Jaddaf has its own dedicated (not shared).

Yes they have a shuttle leaving but its at fixed timing, believe just twice per day.

The causeway bridge goes to Dammam in Saudi Arabia. The flight is super short less than 1 hour, you take off and then drinks are served and faster than you can drink them the stewardess comes to collect them and landing is announced!
