Out of all the versions of IWALY, this was the closest version of her trying to sing the climax like the studio version especially the high note! Despite her vocal condition at the time, I think she did pretty good. Yes, she did struggle but I really appreciate that she gave her all! 💕💕

can't reach the highest notes like before, again, just like in case of Whitney Houston, these divas have lost their prime. Whitney was gone, RIP, Mariah's voice is on some level of Whitney, somewhat less powerful, has shown signs of degradation due to over singing and improper care, lacking of healthy lifestyle. Interestingly contrasting is Celine Dion, one of the three divas , is still kicking really good. Celine rarely talks when she does not sing, routinely following strict eating, maintaining rigid lifestyle as manager and husband René Angélil constantly watches.

She lowered the key with the high notes. Still sounds great, with her deeper mature voice. The husky belts reminded me of Alicia Keys

The first part of those choruses are lip synched. I say this for certainty. She's compensating big time in the second voice with her note choices. She really wrote herself into a corner with these tunes. She can't really do 'em anymore. So sad... :(

seems like she is more comfortable to sing some old songs which is recored when her vocal cord is in good health. Probably she can remember the healthy technique on those songs. But for some newer songs, even less difficult, she cannot reach the notes as in the studio, probably she wasn't using the healthy technique when she sang it the first time.

The first time she hit the "life" it was an e5. The second time it was a c#5.

Okay, at 4:24 she's singing it and as she belts and sustains that note you can kinda hear the backup singing "Don't let go..." Listen with headphones, maybe it will be easier to hear.

easy for us to judge & pick at Ones talents when we are not acclaimed Musicians like Mariah herself or anyone else on her Level, this was my first ever Gig to see/hear Mariah Carey in person and thought it was a damn dope Gig..... and im a Hiphop guy lol For a Diva thats been doin this for years?.. i take my hat off to her, theres prob only a handful that can really hit notes like that 98% of the time on Tour. Does anyone else know of another Diva from the 'Golden Era' that can still do that?
