How long did this take you ?
I’ve been collecting Lego sets since 2006, when I was a kid. But I didn’t start getting into it seriously until 2019. That’s when my collection exploded

Thank you so much for the kind words! And you know I used to have all my Minifigures placed on a baseplate attached to my wall. But I felt like I wasn’t displaying them as nice as I wanted. I wanted to buy display cases for them but it turned out to be so much cheaper to build them. I made a modified version on the Brickvault Minifigure stand! Would you be interested in seeing a tutorial video on how I made them?
I had to lose the fig display so i could use the space for part storage. Now I just rotate a small amount of figures in and out. I make a small moc that can hold 10 figs or so and then the following month i take it apart and make a new scene on a 48x48 base plate based on whichever figs i want to display that month. I realized that my collection is only going to get larger and so my display space will only get smaller so it was easier for me to rotate figs in and out. It also made me appreciate the figs more cause they aren't always on display where they become stail to my eyes and also since not all figs r on display, none r overshadowed by "better" figs which gives me time to really appreciate even the less liked figures
I love that so much. And when I was first beginning my Lego Star Wars collection I always believed in having only 1 of each figure that meant the most to me. Now I want to show my Star Wars love that I have by collecting every single figure. But you bring up a good point. The enjoyment of just having the most important figures in my collection does not exist anymore. I find myself constantly buying variants of figures that are dumb or pricey, all to complete my collection. It’s a trade of off going down this rabbit hole of collecting. But it has been brining me joy! And also, I love when builders display figures in a moc as their display. I think that’s awesome! 😁

The roller skate connections can be eliminated by using 1x1 bricks with studs on opposing sides instead. Only downside is that you’ll have a stud showing on top, but I’d rather have that than pretty much destroying my roller skate pieces

Yo what list do you refer to for completing your collection please ?
@@lehogirard1055 I use Brickset to catalog 99% of my collection. However, for displaying figures I go by bricklink Year. It’s different from brickset because it takes some figures that have slight variants and places them in the year they released. Brickset would list them as year (0). Also the LEGO land storm troopers I had to research when they were released, which is 2002!

Do you keep most the sets or sell them after you get the mini figures.
For the longest time I did keep all my sets, or parted them into my parts collection. But now, some sets have some good value and I have parted ways with them. Mostly because they have been sitting in a bin for years. And I want someone else to enjoy them
