1977 Alberg 30, Hull #614
Sailing is something interesting as it combines a challenging activity with great exercise in the outdoors. As an older adult now, it's an enjoyable sport and you can spend a little or alot. My vessel is called an Alberg 30. She's already 45 years old, reconditioned by me, and getting ready to for a new set of sails.
This is not a monetized page, just posts of the updates on s/v Nautica #614 and her ongoing sailing and maintenance. It can be of assistance to new Alberg 30 Skippers. I encourage the reader to see those sailors as they are several of my favorites! Stay positive, encourage, and be nice, these things go a long way in life! I'm not a videographer or film maker so enjoy the videos as best you can!
Have been living partly in Italy and partly in South Carolina. We are returning to the States and to actively sailing S/V Nautica so stand by for more content in the weeks ahead. A couple of Precision sails await.

A late afternoon series of tacks making my way back to the marina. After a day of sailing, the arrival can be a time of intense maneuvering and gaining advantage for getting home safely and in good form. The natural sounds of wind and water keep the realism of the video. It's not perfect but shows how maneuvering a 30' full keelboat can be an enjoyable experience.

Renaming our Sailboat required a good audience, so we performed it on a warm late Spring social event at our Sailing Club. Those who came were thoroughly engaged and happy to cheer on our new vessel, S/V Nautica!

The Alberg 30 keel hull is designed for heavier seas and is comfortably at ease in more turbulance.
