To the people saying this is dangerous and abuse, take note of how they only actually hit/bit each other like 3 times in the video. They’re just testing one another to assert dominance

The behaviour shown in this video is not play more of both trying to figure one another out as there is a quick confrontation at the start followed by stud piles and repeated squealing as well as smelling and circling, moving each other about. Stallions that are in play don't seem to squeal as much nor lunge in quite so aggressively, I believe these two are trying to figure out if they can get one over on the other without getting hurt; if it's worth starting a full on fight.

They are pretty chill...my two mares almost killed eachother when I first put them together. They are best friends now tho :D

I've seen geldings act just like this... and mares too. They're just trying to figure out who's the bigger bad ass and establishing mutual respect. To those who might be wringing their hands and thinking they could have killed one another - yeah. Maybe. But if you watch, neither is really doing any damage to the other. There's very little actual contact, but a whole lot of posturing and even some territory marking. Reminds me of bucks squabbling for breeding rights during the ruts, complete with pawing (making a scrape).

Calm down people. Arabians are hot blooded as it is, and these two are stallions to add on to that. Once they establish who is in charge they will be fine.

Why is it that the horse world is so paranoid about everything? We have to lock up dear old Flicka in a stall because he might get stung by a bee. Give me a break. Anyways, they’re both beautiful! I’m glad you’re letting them live a healthy life with other horses!
