Why does all of McArthur's sermons sound like he is talking down to everyone? Doesn't Paul talk about encouraging and lifting others up? I don't really get that with him. He seems quite indifferent towards his congregation. That is the main reason I can't take him serious. The best preachers let their congregation know he can relate to them and their struggles. He doesn't give the impression that he struggles the same as everyone else. That makes him appear a hypocrite.
Knowing Christ intimately is the best thing that the soul needs to thrive.

JOHN 10:17,”SO THEN FAITH COMES BY HEARING AND HEARING BY THE WORD OF GOD” MR MacArthur says that faith comes by exposure to the word of GOD,he is incorrect. JESUS is the word of GOD ! JESUS even has to give us the faith to believe. ROMANS 3:10,”THERE IS NONE THAT SEEKS AFTER GOD,NO NOT ONE”
Surely exposure to the word of God is by hearing it and taking it in, ingesting it, and believing unto it?
Amen. I’m so grateful for His biblical teachings, but most importantly to Our Lord for using John as a tool to honestly proclaiming the truth of His Word. This kind of teaching is missing in our age, people want there ears to be tickeled instead of sound teaching like this.
Therefore I have chosen Psalm 131 for My Own..
