My Kove Rally Pro continues to get better and better. I actually like this bike more than my time on the RFR.

Victor nobody's commented on this episode yet or even the last episode, It's all going on a limb here. As an early commenter. in response to the sand in the muffler getting into the engine thing. Being a guy that's playing the home game and a shade tree mechanic, not a professional mechanic. I believe it has to do when the bike dies with sand in the exhaust already, the pressure change can kind of gulp air back into the cylinder. The springing sand with it. Others correct me if i'm wrong

Kove proved the appetite for a consumer rally bike / super light ADV…one of the major manufacturers like Honda could be a fast-follower by extending their 300 “rally” to a “450 rally”

Great episode Victor, Where were you seven years ago

Maybe you are going to cover this later, but once you have your roadbook and say you want to hand it off to one of your buddies which of the tablet based apps can you use to have it validate your waypoints? Let’s say you wanted to have a mock test stage amongst your ridding buddies how do you then take that roadbook and run it like a real rally. Maybe my question is ignorant, but I’m very curious to learn this stuff to share with our riding groups and work up to trying a real rally.

Certainly, you dont have to be super precise on a few kilometers but im many years of making roadbooks for events I found that when we start hitting hundreds of kilometers ensuring your points ar middle of road and orecisely follow curves is of utmost importance

As someone who has racing experience, but non with road books I am stoked for rally 101. Many of the riders in our local club are also going to be watching when it drops!

Iam very excited about rally moto iam a53year old trail rider looking for something new and I think this could be it .I only hope that the cost can be keep down so people like me can go and have a good time to.If there is anything I can help with please let me know

I worked for a then large Honda automotive dealership, I was told by a visiting Honda engineer that the new (at the time) Accord was 5yo from starting development to production. Robby Gordon is 4 years into the SPEED UTV program. Development for a production vehicle is not so easy.

Lots of respect for Mason. Kove is a young team. It’s obvious they are pushing their limits to make things happen, but it’s no where near a mature team yet. But they are nimble and doing things unconventionally too. Hope they let Mason develop the new bike. I would understand if Mason move on with Honda, too. Mason deserves a Dakar trophy 🏆
