In September of 1987, I shot this commercial with Indiana basketball greats Bobby Plump and Steve Alford. Fortunately, I never made it onto their team.

This shit too funny
Mario Cantone brought me here
I'm glad I found this. I laughed so hard when I first saw this.
Look up, half hour comedy Mario cantone. He does this woman spot on 😂
Howard Stern 😂
The best skit from the series
I used to watch it when it was on
I had no idea. That was hillarious!!!
that is commercial that i remember so much,
David Herman, Rock solid after all these years.
Thank GOD for RUclips. It may have been a 'send-off' of "In Living Color," but it certainly didn't pale in comparison. So sad this only lasted one season. Guess we didn't know what we had back then.
They got pachanga looking like ice cube.
3:03 😅
I tell you,if Robert Wise,Jerome Robbins,Leonard Bernstein,Arthur Laurents,Stephen Sondheim, and the other producers of WSS were alive today they would get a big kick out of this brilliant piece by John Leguizamo!HaHaHa!!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣
_John Leguizamo's Ghetto Klown_ brought me here. Thank you, John Leguizamo.
Me too, I am glad it is on RUclips now, I have watched this clip from various other sites since 2016 after watching ghetto klown
I was in middle school when this show was big. My homeroom doing a unit on "The Outsiders" book. I never forgot this segment. 😂 At the time having only seen WSS once.
❤😂
twice............. ...................... more...................
Lol! I've been looking for this clip since it aired!
Great skit 🤣
He shot him with a revolver and a casing ejected lol
3:11 its the guy from madtv
and debra wilson !!
1st time seeing this since it aired live when I was 10.. crazy how you can find anything now.
😂😂😂😂😂🤡
😂😂😂😂🤡
Funny Sketch
3:15 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I surprise this video hasn't got more views because of the West Side Story remake!😅
This was one of the funniest shit I ever seen!
So this was Leguizamo’s Romeo and Juliet audition after all!
Man, I never thought I'd be old enough to say something like this 😂 but its a shame that younger people today who might be fans of John Leguizamo might not know how razor sharp and clever he was in his early career. His show, be it as short-lived as it was, was one of the most unique sketch comedy shows to come out of the 90s. So many people I've talked movies with don't even recognize The Pest. John was a genius in that movie. Check it out if you can- Its like a special brand of 90s slapsticky. Not like cheesy slapsticky, but like this absurd kind. John had a real knack for physical comedy. I will always love his stand ups, even the modern ones.
I never watched the movie but my brother loved it so I know this line “ridiculiculous like a booger I stick to this”
Why didn't this last?
@@edp3202 fox wanted to replace the cast and john refused, so they cancelled the show and turned it into madtv, if you notice the show looks like madtv and even had david herman as part of the cast who went on to be on madtv
john was supposed to be the latino jim carrey but that kind of comedy kind of stopped being popular once the 90s ended
@@kerpal321 the ONLY cast member that was picked up for basically House of Buggin II was David Herman? H of B was mad original and the Latino humor was inspired. What a shame the network didn't take a chance. If JL had agreed to the network's demands, would he have been on Mad TV?
This sketch is still funny.
John Leguizamo was one of my favorite actors back in the 90s. Spawn, The Pest... but I'd never heard of this awesome show until a day ago.
Our feet are the same. Goodbye to you to you and you!
All Star East Coast vs West Coast!
These are both east coast. 50's east coast vs 90's east coast.
To sell some of that 😂
🤣 good old memories
Classic!!!!!
“Man I hate the Theater District!”
That line killed me at the end! I was laughing my ass off!
@@OldSchoolCurt This show was really great.
@@TheRealCaptainFreedom yes it was fantastic
this is funnier the SNL
''i guess we showd them pindejas who owns the hood''
how long ago was this
From 1994

Oy!
RIP Mrs. Paula Glogau
Brilliant acting!
At long last, after I lifetime of striving, I work in that area.
I wish I had a spouse that worked in that area.
That was GORGEOUS!!! Thank you for sharing!
I'm so glad I found this commercial! I thought it was so funny when I first saw it in the early 90's. I grew up in NJ and remember that our local newspaper did a story on her a few months later. She was a cafeteria worker in a Bergen County High School. In fact, I remember seeing only once a commercial some time later for a Howard Stern show in which she appeared at the end (wearing different glasses) yelling "I love Howard Stern!" Does anyone remember that commercial or is it posted anywhere? Does anyone know if she is still alive?
I remember it clearly! Also grew up in NJ and all the Broadway commercials aired on NYC local channels.
GREAT JOB to EVERYONE !!
