Sad thing about this Madden generation of the NFL, the stat that matters most in the grand scheme of things matters least to a lot of experts. That is wins. Football now is all about flash, points and splash plays. At the end of the day entertainment value is supreme. Ive never seen a time in my almost 50 years when a team is praised for scoring 35 points in a shoot out loss while another team is scorned for an "ugly" low scoring win. Well thankfully I'm an old school guy who knows that no matter who says what at the end of the day in order to hold that Lombardi you must win. Whether its ugly, pretty high scoring or defensive. Right now there's not another team that I trust more with everything on the line than the Steelers. For their all weaknesses they have an abundance of the 2 traits that can't be measured. Heart and will. So, as they stack ugly win after ugly win I will wait. No matter how strong any team looks now, the only true measure will be the final result. From the ownership, coach, QB, defense and supporting cast I feel confident about the Steelers chances of being the last team standing. Time will tell.
