My well water isnt potable, its loaded with iron and who knows what else. I drink bottled water from these machines, the dog also does, I cook with it too. Its cumbersome for sure and you have to be careful with cleanliness. I fed a stray cat for a year for someone and gave it water from my house + it almost died. I didnt know why it was so sick but as soon as I sent it to foster care it recovered.

How can you tell when machines have been serviced with new filters? If local city water taste like sulfur and chlorine, will the machines water taste like that too? Can I fill a 5 gallon bucket?

where im at in california its 1.25 for 5 gallons or 30 cents per gallon,,,way cheaper then buying cases of water and bottled water in the store....3 - 5 gallon jugs last me a week.. I use it to drink and cook with and to make coffee.....Ive seen them open before they have multiple filters to catch whatever is coming out of the tap water...Seems a cheap n safe way to get alot of water..You reuse the 5 gallon jugs I would say about a year then get a new one.

My water well pump went out, so I've been buying bottled water at kiosk until I get a new pump. The water is city water. The kiosk isn't big enough to purify, or distill the water, especially not at the volumes people are buying. I've seen lots of people who live in town fill bottles to take home to drink, when they could just drink tap water. Ridiculous. Do they not understand they're drinking city water? The same water that comes out of their tap.

What's the reason for "BLUE RADIO" Bluetooth technology being found in some of these? There is an app designed specifically for detecting certain blue tooth devices which could be used for ILLEGAL purposes, like hacking into vulnerable cell phones, or other nearby bluetooth systems. The picture kiosks inside CVS are one example. There is some other bluetooth equipment CVS uses for certain information transfers & storage. Personal private information included, not to mention the photos contained in mini SD cards people insert into those Kodak picture stations. The criminal ASSHOLES who own the company have modified these somewhat. HINT: They are ALL installed where payphones previously stood, that were owned by THE PELICAN GROUP out of DANVILLE CA. That company also NOT COINCIDENTALLY own other equipment that is installed where State Lottery kiosk's exist. Directly next to them in most situations.
