@@AmpdAdventures oh nice. So you would said is same as the pirelli's? Better or worse? Thanks. Looking into the Ko3 for my R1S for replacement as well. I had 4 set of ko2 in the past and in one i did (well my wife) put 92K miles on them (4runner). Great tire.

@@carlossilviotube lifetime Pirelli was 2.14 so a small decrease but IMO a much better tire.

Wow keen eye, still have it but did some hauling last week and havnt put it back on. But honestly I feel naked without it. ABSOLUTLY love it and yes got the XL for the bed. It will make it back on this week. I’ll have a video of a new addition for it as well soon enough!

@@AmpdAdventures haha awesome! Yeah I’m thinking about adding it to the bed as well but also share it with our other vehicle which is a Defender. Would you say it’s pretty easy to transfer? I suppose easy if both vehicles have correct mounts.

@@StardustX24 yes it sure is! I absolutely love it. I was a big Limestone lover for the longest but ultimately decided on the silver and have no regrets. Love this color and would choose it again, you won’t regret choosing it. Congrats, also on your soon to be Rivian!

I have a R1S and have been on many road trips myself -- in fact to most of the places you've visited and filmed. 😁😁😂😂But I'm always interested in watching other EV drivers' -- especially Rivian owners -- charging experiences on their road trips. We'll have it better into the future with NACS adaptors for Tesla Superchargers but for the past and present, we only have DCFC. It's always such a hit or miss with DCFC stations. RAN networks are pretty good. But we have so few of them around. My wife and I actually very recently went on a 2 week trip starting out from Greater Sac area up along the coast of CA -- Redwood country -- then up OR and WA then came back same way. I went on a hunt to checkout various RANs along the route. They were all great. Not crowded like they would be in the Bay Area -- 😁😁 -- but interestingly enough, 3 of 6 were out of service at Coos Bay, OR. That was surprising. Anyway, it's up to you as the content creator how you want to shape your YT Channel and what content you want to showcase. I'll just say that for me, when I watch videos on EV roadtrips, I'm definitely interested in the charging sessions and experiences -- good or bad -- with the charging sessions. 🙏🙏 Safe travels

Agree 100% that having the ability to charge at Tesla stations will be a game changer for a lot. I’m hoping my adapter comes soon as I’m taking a trip to Sedona for the Overland Expo. Also with Rivian’s new software update with the charging grades hoping we all don’t run into bad charging in the future.

I can only speak for myself but it’s been my favorite vehicle I’ve owned. Very capable and really is a Swiss Army knife of vehicles. Hope this helped and good luck on whichever you decide on!

Sweet! Glad the video helped! I unfortunatly don’t have any experience with any tents thus far. I have been eyeing Thule’s Approach RTT but there’s so many to choose from. But I personally like the idea of putting it across the bed which is a big reason I went with the Caprock system which just makes placing things above the bed very simple. Just my opinion though. I would have gotten a RTT but alas I don’t have the means currently to store it when not In use.

Not sure, I don’t have much experience driving an X5. But the ride quality to me is awesome.

Yea! I’ll try to explain best on here but maybe I can do a quick video next time I take it out. Basically the mounting brackets are what you see in this video. The bolts are slid through the cross bars. Whenever I want to take the awning there’s a lip on the brackets which catches on the mounts and then I just position the awning and tighten some bolts to secure it. lol sorry it’s a lot but next trip I take it I’ll add it to the video and talk about it more.

So this is the XL size. It mounts directly into the Rivian mounting points using Thule’s Fitkit (Kit#18739) and Thule’s Fixpoints (710071). Very easy to install these and opens up the door to mount pretty much any Thule rack system.

That’s an awesome trip! I’m sure the camping helped cut down some costs. That’s my long term end plan is to get a rooftop tent but alas I don’t have any room in my house lol.

That’s at the Barstow charging RAN station. It’s definitely a solid travel hub which lately has been populated frequently with Rivian’s. Awesome to see

@@AmpdAdventures Yup. I've been there July, October and May. May was snowy. Bryce is one of my favorites. I also like Yellowstone, Custer State Park and Grand Canyon. I've not seen the CA parks yet.
