My 3 uncles served in the U.S. Navy in the Pacific during the WWll. All 3 of them returned home after the war. God, please keep an eye on them.

I watched Navy beat Army this past Saturday. My dad was in the Navy for 24 years, sadly he passed away last year. He didn't get to see Navy beat Army before he passed. I cried when they sang this at end. I know he was happy they won.

When I was young boy, my father would take me to church at North Island NAS. They would sing this every Sunday about Pilots. I knew the women there were pilos wifes. I prayed for them.

43 years after graduation, still hits my heart.

This is the most beautiful song I have ever heard

My recently departed father was a Navy Man and this was the last song played at his funeral. You have no idea how much this touches me to hear this beautiful rendition as I remember finding the strength to hold my mother up from falling over while she had to hear this song played to his memory. Simply beautiful and a fabulous tribute to the brave men and women who ventured out to the realms of Poseidon to make sure those shore lines were secure. Thank you so much! You do a great honor to those who have served before you.

Thinking about my Grandpa Baker, Firecontrollman 2nd class on the Fletcher-Class Destroyer USS Kimberly (DD-521) during its war career in the Pacific Theater. I knew he lost many of his buddies at battle-stations when Kamikazes attacked their ship during the Okinawa Campaign; didn't talk about the war much. All he said was because the Japanese (He said the slang) Bombed Pearl Harbor, We Had a Patriotic Duty as able-bodied Sailors to Join Up and to Beat them Black and Blue for the Sake of our Nation and its Idea of Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness.

An outstanding interpretation of this beautiful hymn. Well done on the excellent singing. I love to hear this hymn sung at Mass by our local choir. The brilliant harmony displayed by the USNA Music Department is the best that I have ever heard. Take a bow! I have no doubt that those mourning the passing of H Ross Perot were greatly comforted by the singing of this hymn.

My late father served in the Pacific during WWll. He had been in the army prior to WWll. He chose to join the navy, though, and served on a ship in the Pacific. This hymn sung by these men is absolutely beautiful.
