Alternative scene
I am currently binge watching this series...reminds me of my family...
Liam was a real one for taking care of Frank in his final days.
What song
Franks just wanted his all his kids to be better then him and Monica
Tge Gallagher family owns Frank's Apology
He did love all his kids it' was just sad je was too messed up to completely enjoy that love.
This scene hits you like a truck. It would’ve been amazing for Emmy to return as Fiona and I’m not happy with how the show ended but seeing Fiona’s face in those flashbacks is really what broke me down. She was the glue to that entire family and Frank remembering her first just goes to show that deep down in his heart somewhere he truly loves her and appreciates all she did
He thought of the 2 things he loved. His kids and the Alibi.
Amazing show "I grew up with them" ❤😇
Frank is a very nasty man when Fiona needed him he was not there
The show went too woke & sucked near the end... RIP
Fiona is Frank they're both narcissistic sociopaths.
Seeing Frank laugh like that at 2:30 makes me so sad, he lost so much time with his kids and finally he is not drunk and see them happy one last time. He was never a good father to them... but we cant say that he didnt loved them.
He was in Air Force One
My mother is a alcoholic and very similar to frank! She would almost always pick a good time and drinking over me and my siblings! Now I have 2 kids that call her grandma and she is still drinking but not partying because all her friends are either dead or can't drink anymore from liver disease, or Alcohol dementia! So no she just drinks alone or with random patrons at the bar she owns and lives at (not joking she lives behind the bar)! I haven't cried this much in years as I don't want my mother to die but I also want her to suffer for the pain, addictions, and bad tendencys she passed on to me!!
Stop I'm crying...
Frank lives through all kinds of shit the is killed by covid stupid as hell
He mentioned fiona twice in the episode he felt like he failed her more than anyone he had nothing to say to fiona because she was the smartest out of all of them and he feels most proud of her thats why he didnt mention her because if he did it wouldnt matter to her
last season was shit
I believe we deserved a better ending than this.. Although this was great, i think we should have seen them together with Frank. We also deserved Fiona back..
SO powerful. How a narcissist sees his life go on without him. Best ending to a show ever ❤
Such a bitter sweet ending to see how the characters grew.
He truly loves his family, he just don't know how to show it.
you know, the way the characters grew and evolved is just great, when you watch shameless you feel the emotion, I've never cried at a shows ending before this, it was so spatial, the way they wrote the ending was perfect, congrats to the writers and frank you'll be missed
This is so sad
Liam could feel his presence 😢
This series really breaks me. Im on season 8 and it reminds me change is inevitable...no matter how much you try to keep things, the same...people move on and what was once solace and comfort is just a glimpse of yesterday. This series is heartbreaking and bittersweet all at once. Through all the pain and sorrow they were eachothers solace that house was their solace. They were what defined the Southside for decades. And then all at once its gone. Frank called it when he saw those construction trucks moving into the neighborhood to change things. It starts w a Starbucks and then what was once the old neighborhood is just some hipster trash joint.
And now ian is a jedi and lip is a chef with a restaurant good for them
Am I the only one who saw this amd didn't feel sad or bad for him at all?? He's thinking back amd reminiscing when he had his entire life to better things
This was so beautiful and so heartbreaking at the same time.
FRAnk loved each child he let them each be in my opinion it was Fiona who made certain they ate but she made them raise themselves she partied more then her parents even chased them out of their home so she could do as she wished which did not better the broad they all survived DEBS another mess up her distorted view of how to be a mom.... SUre Fiona have tdrmination in mind she just couldn't lead with love the Fiona song was spot on
Song?
It’s in the description
as much of a scumbag Frank was, this scene was still sad
This was better than the way the show depicted it. It went to shit after like season 4; I loved it then
I love Shameless.. I loved Frank . He is real, too real . See Lip that lost himself and work as rider make me cry. Think that Fiona lost her head every time something good happened... also...
Frank go to Pats because he looking for Fiona. He always see Fiona when he feel bad. That is.
This is so much better than the UK one i swear
The music was not in the show why did you add it it ruined it
Why did you add the unnecessary music? It totally took away from the emotion
If I die I lowkey want this song played at my funeral. Such a beautiful song and always makes me think of Shameless. Thank you God for introducing me to this show. Always there for me when I have a bad day. Frank will lowkey be a roll model to me in some ways
Debbie was such a good kid, her character got completely destroyed
Wish they added this song in the finale
This show means a lot to me. This scene specifically broke my heart. I recently lost my older sister to alcoholism. Her liver started giving out, which caused her other organs to shut down. She was a lot like Frank, but as well as Fiona. She was a mix of both. She loved our family. She loved her kids, she loved our siblings, and she loved our parents. I miss her dearly. She loved watching Shameless. I believe it gave her a sense of feeling of, "I'm not alone." Addiction is a serious and heavy thing. People say, "it's selfish and hurts the ones you love." Yes, but we're humans. There's more to it than people think, it's a mental illness.
Omg I’m so sorry for your loss 😢❤
I tried to feel sad about Frank dying but I couldn't because he was just a pathetic trash human. The show didn't do enough to make him look worthy of being cared about. He did not do good things for or defend his family other than that one part in the storage room he told a guy to leave his family alone or he will bury him with Monica. He kept going back to them even after they tried to murder him and left him on the streets multiple times. That's just pathetic. So this ending made no sense. This homeless old guy, who was loved by no one and hated by all, trying to have a moments of flashback and a hero ending is just weird.
What's alternative about this? It looks like the same scene from the show.
I just found out the new is. Frank daglugher
I never cry tf 😢😢😢😢
Did....he get himself medically euthanized...?
The fact Liam knew Frank was there watching him and he was watching back and Frank letting go and Liam letting go in that moment was amazing hate him and love him always frank a nasty crap bag we all loved who may not get into heaven but also didn't get into hell
William H. Macy really is a great actor.
