@nitedog808 you need to go into the yolobox settings menu, cog, and find hdmi out and click the slider next to program out, then you will have program only feed

I was actually reading your response to another subscriber and caught that part about the HDMI Out>Program Out…and was able to finally get it to work. This totally helps. I haven't had to yer, but have an Hyundai Ioniq with vehicle to load so run a standard extension lead to the car. If it was so remote that there was no access to my car or any power source I would probably scale down to just the yolobox pro and use batteries

It's an option in the add lower thirds menu

I have explored the lower thirds but no place for scrolling or rolling text, because I was looking for a way to make announcement while streaming

@@cityridetv it's definitely there, I am out filming a wedding today so cannot look for exact location but 99% sure it's in lower thirds and called rolling caption. There is a very helpful yolobox users group on Facebook

im not familiar with the minemedia product, but see it is an encoder, so assume you have a HDMI or SDI input on yours, just send the program out via HDMI from the Atem. Only draw back is you won't have multiview which is why I use the Seetec monitor as shown

for my use cases the wireless cam being 0.08s behind the others is not an issue, that lag is not even noticeable during switches. The only issue I would have is if trying to sync audio from another source to the lips of the image on the wireless camera then it wouldn't work and the sync would be noticable. If using the wireless camera as an audio source then I ensure that the audio capture method is plugged directly into the same camera, so its audio and video are synced before sending via the wireless transmitter. I have introduced a stream deck mini into my setup and it runs a macro that will mute all other audio sources and switch the hdmi audio source that the wireless cam is feeding into should I need to use it for remote interviews etc.

apologies I missed this comment somehow. I have to admit the HDMi output is not 100% perfect. It works for what I do, but it most definitely is not smooth. It is designed as a monitor output rather than a program output and despite Yololiv saying they will fix it, nothing has happened yet. They are usually very good at fixing issues, but "seem" to be ignoring this one now that they have introduced their own bonding service.

Hello, thanks for watching and commenting. Yes exactly that the hdmi out of the yolobox straight into the hdmi input of the liveu solo. Things have improved with the Pro yolobox specifically removing the annoying jittery footage when paired with the liveu solo

I'm not 100% sure I understand your question, but yolobox has chroma built in so you can key out a solid colour background (green or blue work best) and replace with any content you have saved on the sd card or another of video sources. You need to be pointing at a solid colour background for the effect to work properly (like any green screen production) and yes you can do this live as I was in the video.

@@kilroyfilms7590 Thank you. I was hoping it was not necessary to have a green or a blue screen and that Yolo had the power to cut your image as adobe does. For the rest this machine works exacty as Streamyard. Is a sort of harwarized Streamyard with more inputs, more outputs and a portability. Thank you.

Hey thanks for the kind comments. To be honest I haven't streamed with the combo since the last update so I couldn't honestly tell you whether the jitters have been fixed or not. Some other users don't have the same problem outputting to the liveu solo in the Facebook group I'm in, so hopefully that's a good sign. I will test again soon, I've just been super busy with full time job and videography work.

Yes the jitters is a known issue when using the hdmi output of the yolobox with "some" devices. It has been greatly improved with the pro version that I now use and the pro also has an audio delay feature if you send microphone straight into mic in or line in. It is supposed to be synced perfectly via camera and hdmi, but I can see what you mean on this particular video as well.

Thanks for your input. As I say in the video I use a liveu solo to encode, the yolobox is a fantastic monitor and switcher with graphics and green screen to boot. Imo great value for money.

@@kilroyfilms7590 perhaps . Thank you for your reply . And still if you would connect straight into the live u. The frames would be there . Yolobox just looks jittery no matter what . And if I plug hdmi out it burns battery faster than the device is charged , if usb device is added the cpu struggles and the frames go down again . I just wish there could be an competitor but right now there is nothing but the Roland video mixers but the price is absolutely crazy . ,

Exactly why I don't actually stream with it, but pair it with the liveu solo....covered in the video. It's great for a mobile switcher, with graphics etc without the need for a laptop and extra software. If I was regularly streaming conferences I'd be using a desk based set up, but this fits my mobile use case perfectly.

Thank you Jim. No both cameras wired in... did you notice a sync issue? To be honest on this particular video it might be because I downloaded the original live stream (forgot to record it) and re uploaded after chopping out the fat, so maybe RUclips compression has messed with it

Since making the video there has been a method shown to "sideload" speedify onto the yolobox as its essentially an android device. I think speedify will allow 3 connections, but it's definitely not as reliable or professional as the live u solo and puts all the reliance on the yolobox.... I prefer to add layers of redundancy
