This is the only thing that will motivate my pet pigeon to bathe. If I put this video on for him, he’ll usually come right over and actually get in his bath. Thank you for helping me keep my boy relatively stink and dust free 🤣🫶

Also, it gets so HOT during the summer months with all those layers of feathers and down. Even after molting, it's gotta be so hot! Keep in mind that some birds have been urbanized and won't migrate north/south.

If your a balloon pilot, you appreciate a landing like this. I live in the Desert Southwest in the USA. It's not uncommon to last very fast at 15-25 MPH. I was flying my little balloon a 42,000cu.ft. homebuilt racer. I took off and had a beautiful flight of over an hour. I looked down and saw a farm truck racing down below and I could the dirt behind was following him quite fast. I radioed my crew and told them I'm landing, it's gonna be fast. I came down about 10' above the ground, Leveled off, shut off the pilot light on my burner. Right before I contacted Mother Earth, I started pulling the top outta the balloon. I drug almost 100'! When the balloon finally stopped, my Crew Chief and my wife thought I was dead. They were running as fast as they could, until they heard me laughing. I was fine; the basket a bit dirty but damaged.......AND ME... I had memory for a lifetime!
These feathered fellas have also saved human lives.
