In K-POP, it's NORMAL to buff idols' height, I'm no surprise they add 1-2 inches to their real height. Avg. Korean male around 173, but ideal height for male is 180. So really like even not idol ppl also buff up their height. When I studied in Korea, my Korean roommates, 1 girl 165 she will tell ppl she is 168, that is add a bit over 1 inch, another 165 girl just tell ppl she is 170 that is 2 inches. Another girl in our dorm, she is 170, she always told ppl she is 173. I think not just male, even female idols also add a bit to their height. It's normal for Korean, unless you are really tall like over 175 they won't. A girl in my class is 180, but she told ppl she is 175, but I'm 178, so I know. In Korean, the height for men never too tall. But for women 175 is the top over 175 unless you really pretty, ppl will laugh at your height, "you have manly height, you r too tall, you tall like a man..."
