This film by Aqil and Khai is about what inspired our students to study civil and structural engineering and won them the Dominic Fox Memorial Prize from the Association of Civil Engineering Departments (ACED). It features our Integrated Design Project, which is designed to give students in-depth experience of working on a real-life engineering project in industry. epc.ac.uk/aced/ www.sheffield...

If Sheffield had a half- decent transport system people might change their habits.A consultation by Sheffield Council means that they will do what they want irrespective of what people say.If you doubt this the LTN in Crookes and Walkley was introduced with little proper consultation and remains despite locale detesting it.Bit like Russia really.
Your Soo inspiring Hanna...thank you for motivating me..and for encouraging me to use chopsticks 😄😄😄

Hey there I am intrested in this major and I am intrested in applying to this uni
I want to be Architectural Engineering someday💜🥺🎓🎓🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
I really like this. Highly interested
Is it possible for architects to apply for a master in architectural engineering?
Hi there - thanks for your message. Can you please clarify whether you're interested in undergraduate or postgraduate study as we offer this course at both levels. If it's undergraduate please email civilugadmissions@sheffield.ac.uk with details of your qualifications. If it's postgraduate please email civilpgadmissions@sheffield.ac.uk with the same information. You can also find more information about the two courses here: www.sheffield.ac.uk/prospectus/courseDetails.do?id=HK2D2020 (undergraduate) www.sheffield.ac.uk/postgraduate/taught/courses/2020/architectural-engineering-design-msc (postgraduate). Please note that our courses are engineering courses so you must have suitable a maths qualification (at least the equivalent to UK A level). Hope this helps. Thanks
@@tuofscivilstructuralengine6711 thanks you so much for responding. Actually I'm interested in postgraduates study so I'll email the university. Thanks again. Hope I'll join you soon

I m very happy
I m studying of 3 yrs diploma in civil engineering
Thanks mem
You are an inspiration to us all,I so wanna go to Sheffield and eat Chinese food with chopsticks

That's the perfect mesh for me
Alright.. I have a question I live in nj I wanna b an architect and an architectural engineer In nj no schools offer architectural engineering majors I cant go out of state that's not an option Njit offers architecture as a major Also civil engineering I was thinking doing both majors could land me experience i both areas.. Thats were the double degree comes in They offer civil and architecture which can b done in 6 yrs So my questions: Do u think the double degree is appropriate to persue both careers? Is civil engineering the best alternative for a major in architectural engineering, if not what? Do u think i should specialize in an area in civil, such as structural or industrial? Or maybe scrap engineering all together and just do architecture in 5yrs which i would hate to do😞 I wanna do both jobs But if i would have to choose 1.. I would choose architecture I look forward to your quick reply Thanks
Yea, I say structural engineering and architecture. Is living in new York, out of the question? The have free 4 year degrees here. You should consider it.
my mom only wants me to go to a college that is in sate, for 1 it is cheaper and 2 transport would be a problem and boarding is even more expensive. but i have checked n.y for architectural engineering. no school in n.y offers it when u say they offer 4 year programs, what do u mean? an engineering major alone for 4 years? nj has that too.
Thanks for your message - unfortunately we can't advise you on what to study in the American Higher Education system. But if you'd like to know more about studying at Sheffield, please get in touch! Thanks

what is the different between Barch and B tec architecture which is better
technical architecture? one is most likely more design focused and one is more calculation focused

How much does an entry level blast protective engineer make?
Brilliant!
Genius!!!!! History is being made here!!! Keep up the great work!!!!
am i the only person who realized that an explosion in a plane at ground level would produce different pressure dynamics than an explosion at 30000 feet, given the difference in outside air pressures. in order to get accurate and reliable data you would have to correct for this difference in your experiment
+Bradley Collett and what purpose would that serve? the point of this product is to protect passengers from a catastrophic destruction. only a small percentage of people would die if a bomb were to explode in a plane that is on the ground. a bomb being detonated while the plane is on the ground would not maximize the kill rate thus a potential terrorist wouldnt be interested in this. terrorists want to destroy the entire plane and kill everyone on board to maximize the destruction, which is why they would want to wait until the plane is in the air before detonation. if this product only protects planes while they are on the ground then i dont see the value in an airline investing in such a product.
