ahhh i remember my first blind run of inquisition back at launch. I always believed he was what he said he was, a Grey Warden. Up until here lies the abyss. The fear Demon said he was "Nothing like a Grey Warden" the fear demon was overconfident but never fully lying to us about anyone's fears. but I still firmly believed he was indeed a Warden and this was the one time the fear demon was willing to lie but then at the Winter Palace he refused to say what he earned the Silverite Wings Of Valor for when he's normally happy to talk about his experience as a Grey Warden. I then reloaded some earlier saves and went back through his conversations and realized he talks about wardens like how he believes they should be rather than how they actually are. Yet he was so convinced that he even convinced other wardens he was one of them. They should of sensed he was not tainted by the blight like all Wardens are but he acted so much like the model warden they too believed him and never questioned him on it. but ultimately when the reveal happened i was still shocked. but ultimately I Concluded that he had long since redeemed himself for the Atrocity he committed. He Lived so long pretending to be someone better than He was that he Ultimately became better than what he was. I allowed him to continue to atone as Thom Rainer. he was willing to die for his mistake when it came to light. if he was any shred less of a good man he would of let someone else die for his mistake, but he didn't.

he's an interesting one aye, wasn't literally what he claimed to be, but made sure to physically be it through actions. Would be a real brain tangle to come to terms with @_@
