It's 2024, and I'm cruising the streets of LA, but having to stop every 15 seconds to dodge fentanyl addicts and prostitutes. And I can only cruise for 10 minutes because gas is 152.99 a gallon in CA. I also spent my life savings on Mcdonalds because minimum wage is too high and a big mac is 15 bucks. Good times.

Great synth tracks with a definite 80’s vibe, but as someone who lived in Miami during the 80’s this doesn’t sound like anything we’d hear back then. Miami sounds were exotic and what I like to call “tropical”. Music was melodic and light, like being on the beach, sitting under an umbrella on the sand with a cool drink in your hand and Caribbean rhythms playing softly in the background. The tracks in this compilation have more of an 80’s Los Angeles vibe.
