i wouldn’t trust anything these chineese people say considering that’s a wiped film and not a “Short Path Device” as your title states. Jeez, if ur selling these things and don’t even know what it’s called then i suggest everyone to stay far away from this company 😂😂😂
Short path distillation is aslo called molecular distillation. Because the scraps will force a film in the inner wall of the stiller barrel, so that, it is also called wiped film distillation. Some people call it "spinning band".
But I don't see a wiper though so technically you can't say it's WFD, perhaps one can argue that it's a falling film but if you really want to get technical all distillation runs on the same principles as short-path. Just because they speak a different language doesn't disqualify their chemistry skills. I'm curious to know what kind of distiller do you own or work with?

Pull vacuum through the cold trap on your still with the feed valve closed. By doing this, you wont be pulling vacuum on your feed canister because the feed itself forms a liquid lock. That way, you get a better gravity feed of your crude material into the still and youll be able to continuously add more feed to the still without breaking vacuum.

Arent these thin film evaporators?
Strictly speaking, this is Short path distillation machine. Also called molecular distillation machine, wiped thin film distiller. It is used for CBD/THC concentrate. While thin film evaporator is used to remove solvent and the machine do no have inner condenser to collect CBD/THC. Vacuum degree is also not so high required as short path distillation.
