ASMR | Reading You The Night Before Christmas
hidden pictures sound really interesting. the idea of subtle creepy stuff happening like that or even becoming a thriller. it reminds me of another similar story, when i reached the end it was such a shock. its nice the buildup like that when you finally realize. btw, i came to a fun conclusion about these types of books, ill tell you about it if youre curious?
I really enjoyed Hidden Pictures!
Ah great to hear, really looking forward to reading it!
ok better book selection 🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗 bul love the 2nd book
I wrote a book, would you be willing to read it?
Oh wow, what a fantastic achievement! Can I ask what the genre is?
uhh why the book at the end but the video is still good
Haha I guess not every book suits everyone else's tastes - to be honest it was fairly average! Glad you still enjoyed the video :-)
@@Books_TinglesASMR ii did but no offense ur were kinda pushing it cause i told someone aka another book reader that it does let pple in but not gay pple or special ed and she showed me the part on on discord But if u hate pple like us then thats kind of of a problem but small worries
@@logangamingvideos8057 hmm are you talking about the book the enchanted life? I definitely didn’t pick up on anything like that in the book itself, it was mostly just anti capitalism / reconnecting with nature stuff .. I don’t know maybe I missed some other outside context there. But definitely no hating here 😊
@@Books_TinglesASMR Tbh i do see ur point but i do want u to know that ur my favorite book asmr girl but wont ask u to be friends cause they already to kill my reatarted self but no harm 🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗
im so confused with dr jekyll and mr hyde as we had to read that book in school and it was definitely longer than 50 pages🤣🤣
That is strange! I actually just went and checked my copy in case I somehow missed a section 😅I think the version I have just has super small font and tiny margins.. they were obviously trying to save on paper 😂
Thank you 🙏
my two fav things combined: reading and asmr 🙏💗
Ah me too, and they just work so well together! 😊
This video is soooo very soothing! Thank you.
Thank you!! Was really nice to film, so glad you enjoyed ☺️
❤❤❤
Thank you 🙏
Thank you. Very calming and nice to hear about books that I will consider. 👍
Enjoyed hearing about your favourite books. Very calming. Thank you
Thank you ☺️ glad you enjoyed!
❤❤❤
Just found your channel and catching up. Your voice is very soothing.
Thank you, that's great to hear!
Ok u have the most satisfying asmr voice ever 😊
Thank you so much! That is a lovely thing to hear 💕
I saw this video on my recommended page- instantly subscribed! your voice is so relaxing ✨
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed 😊
Love your video! I'm currently reading Vanity Fair and LOVE it so far. But it's thick, and I don't have much time lately. Gonna take me a while!
Thank you so much😊 I haven't ever read Vanity Fair but it's definitely one on my radar, so glad to hear you are enjoying it despite the length! I guess you just have to take it one chapter at a time and enjoy the journey 📚
In the Chestnut Springs series it was "shrink-wrapped eyes" for me 😅 i had never neard that before and then it was in every single book, multiple times.
Haha that is very funny! Strangely I didn't notice that, think I was too busy obsessing over the other phrase 🙃
So glad I came across this!! Thank you!!💖💖💖
You're very welcome - thank you for watching 😊💕
HIGHLY recommend anyone who is struggling to get through LOTR to try the audiobooks narrated by Rob Inglis. He does a phenomenal job and I never would have been able to get through them in print (I struggle to read anything in print although I adore audiobooks). I did end up reading The Silmarillion in print, which took me six months but was 1000% worth it. The first half reads as very biblical in its style of writing, but the second half is much easier and more fun to get through as it focuses on specific characters and their stories.
This is a great shout, I sometimes forget audio is an option but I think the style of Tolkien will really suit narration. Will look out for the Rob Inglis version so thank you!
I totally get being wary of not liking a popular book like hamnet. It’s on my shelf and I haven’t read It yet. I feel this way about sally Rooney. I can’t stand her writing.
Yeah it's difficult because reading is so subjective! Also you're battling against high expectations when something is that popular / hyped. I'm actually staying away from Sally Rooney because she doesn't use speech marks and that really bothers me!
Exposition is the worst. Show, don't tell!
Exactly! Some authors seem to effortlessly give you everything you need to know .. others not so much!
did u think the harry potter series was any good
Yes, I LOVED Harry Potter, I basically grew up with him. For me so magical and amazing, a huge part of why I love reading so much. Have you read them?
I’ve been eyeing zodiac academy for the longest time, I think I’m definitely picking it up now!! 💘
Oh great, really hope you like it! I think they have a fun and unique style but I really loved it!
Another awsome video and plus i like ur background
Thank you 🙏 I’ve tried so sort out my lighting a bit so hopefully that has helped!

im srry im autistic so srry 😐😣😥
@@logangamingvideos8057 no need to apologise!! It’s all good 😊
only read one of his books, The Old Man and the Sea, which I read on a beach holiday in a day. I liked the meaning of it all, it had resonance.
Yeah that one is certainly very powerful, quite impressive given how short it is!
Great video, interesting ❤❤❤
Thank you!
Silmarillion is actually my fave! And quite fun. Though I audio’d it so I could jog and whatnot while listening.
Audio could be a great shout for this one, imagine the narrators will do a much better job with any of the lyrical parts than I would! Might pass on the jogging though 😅
Name 10 book
Hey! Thanks for the video ☺️. I’ve read « A little life » and honestly it’s not obligatory to read it. I used to call it « the cake trauma » because it has many layers of traumatic stuff that never really end. Not everyone enjoys a cake trauma, and the story itself I mostly remember the sad or horrible parts. Like no character or quote really stuck with me, it was more like « yeah everything is worse than I thought ». I love, love, love Lolita and on the contrary I feel like it’d be a great read. Because Nabokov writes SO well (the best writing ever really), and despite what many people think it’s anti-pedophilia. Basically it’s written for you to get inside Humbert Humbert’s head and hate him. And it works! A truly disgusting man. And it also touches upon double standards and victim blaming, which as a society we rarely talk about! Sorry for the ramble
Haha no I love a good book ramble, really great to hear your thoughts! Makes me feel much better about picking up Lolita, sounds like it will be a very worthwhile and interesting read. And cake trauma is a brilliant phrase 😂
Love your taste in books, Interview with the Vampire is sooo good 🩸🧛♂️ it's so exciting to see someone pick it in a book haul
That's really great to hear - very excited to pick it up soon! 😊
What is ur favorite book and why? Plus I loved the video
Thank you 🙏 Thats a tough question but would say Piranesi by Susanna Clarke. Its unlike anything else I've read, so beautifully written and really intriguing/mysterious/fantastical. Loved it! Loving the FNAF profile pic btw 😄
@@Books_TinglesASMR thank you 😊
@@Books_TinglesASMR hey i do hav one more question do u want to asmr collaborate
@@logangamingvideos8057 Hm that's an interesting idea. To be honest it's probably not something I'd think about at the moment, it might sound silly but I still just feel like I'm fully finding my feet and getting into a good routine with creating videos!
Just books and pure asmr?? I think this is my new fav channel :D p.s. Small Things Like These is my favourite book of allll time. If you loved Foster, then you're absolutely going to love this one as well!
Ooh that's good to hear. I'm not normally a short story fan but she may be converting me!💜
Your ASMR is amazing, but is there any way you can turn off the ads? They are every five minutes and really loud compared to the ASMR. I know RUclips sucks when it comes to ads and you might not be able to do anything about it yet.
Thank you 🙏 but sorry you are getting so many ads. Unfortunately I have no control over ads as you have to have 1K+ subscribers. I feel your pain as it’s horrible seeing ads when you’re trying to relax , will definitely change things if I am able to in future!
Ah I thought it’d be something like that! Here’s to that 1k mark💪
Wow. I think mees just found something really yummy. Meow meow.
Hello, I’m so glad I found your channel! This video just popped up on my home page. I’m also from the UK and have been looking for more UK based booktube channels. I like the American booktubers but it’s nice to have a bit of familiarity with references and things. Also your book taste seems to be more familiar compared to a lot of booktubers who tend to read mainly YA and romance. Nice to find something more relatable 💜📚 P.S. I liked White Teeth
Aw thank you so much, glad you enjoyed it ☺️ I definitely have quite a broad taste in books, personally I get a bit bored if I read all the same genre and nothing else but each to their own!
Very Relaxing 😌
😀🎧
Really nice video. Can you do a soft spoken questions and answers, get to know you video for your subscribers for a 100 subscribers special?
Thank you, glad you enjoyed! And good suggestion, I'm planning to do a book tag next month to cover some of that off but will look into a Q&A as well :)
Ik raak er heel erg 0pgewonden van ❤🥵🥵🥵🤤🤤🤤🤤
Just found Yoouu, My Ladyyy!! Trillion kisses from Peter from Hungaryyy!!!!
I love Claire Keegan. Beautiful writer. My favorite is Small Things Like These.
I've only just discovered her but loved Foster, will have to pick that one up next :)
Very Relaxing
You're really good mate! You have really crisp soothing whisper 😊
Sweet British accent, books, and attic 😍 Even thinking about them makes me fall asleep. Maybe the problem is small space but I think you do not use your attic efficiently. Take a look at freckles asmr to get some ideas. She is a professional artist but I think the sole attic is a big reason for her success. People love the cosy vibe of attics. I think she knows that very well and she uses that to her benefit Comparing to yours She has a broader background view inside which there is a cosy bed, a window that shows the weather and beautiful rains, and more plants and greens than you All of these factors are relaxing You can apply the same strategies if any of them is possible Also I think the starecase behind you is unique among similar videos, you can change the camera's view to show some stairs or make it more visible These are just my opinions and maybe I'm wrong Keep up the great work and I wish you Ks and Ms of subscribers 🤞🤞
Thank you, lots of food for thought there! I'm definitely still finding my feet a little, but will bear in mind those suggestions as I develop 😊
Some great reviews of books I’ve never read. Thank you. Love the detail of the plots that you give too.
Lovely 😊 keep up the good work!
