Probably not, it's already a lot of work making it for a version

PS2 emulator, there is no CoD version running natively on PC unfortunately

That happened to me as well sometimes with my controller, but it's not a mod issue, since at any point it never feeds any input to the game. Pcsx2 acts weird with some directinput pads but I am not sure why. Do you play with a wired controller or bluetooth controller? Does it still do random inputs if you only have keyboard inputs?

@@gian2074 it's a switch pro controller but it was only doing the random inputs when I had the mods .exe running, if I ran it through pcsx2 by itself there was no random inputs

I have the same exact controller, I get the issues when I connect it with a cable to my pc. Using it with bluetooth fixes it for me. Try messing up with that or change the control mapping to see if something makes the difference. Again, the mod does not interfere with any inputs at any time, so I find it difficult to think it is the cause of the random inputs, might be a coincidence or there are some other external conflicts going on

@@crimsonfoxsecond Textures can be reused, 2D elements can be reused (in fact I am recycling the menu for Trevor mode). That's about it though

@@gian2074 One thing I've wondered in this whole playthrough is the menu that tells what you've found on the left, plus a controller diagram showing your inputs. Is that something I can get for my own personal use? I just like to see my progress checked off step by step is all.

The controller input viewer is a web plugin that you can find by googling "gamepad viewer". The window on the left instead is an autotracker I made on cheat engine that automatically tells you what items you have collected I can post the tool on discord if you need it

Yes I have already confirmed that you can play crazy mode with other characters, so it's definitely possible. I will make a Lament mod but only after I'm done with CoD... which is still going to take a while, I'll see after Trevor mode

@@gian2074 Just checked it, and it really does work! Tho the CRC changes every seed,which makes so PCSX2 doesn't identify your cheat, so i had to pick up the information in your pnach file and put it on a new one with the correct CRC.

@@LordYharim Yes, the speedring cheat works with the randomizer, you just have to make sure you edit the title of the pnach file to match the 'new' CRC

Nope because jumping is not good enough for dodging: plenty of attacks in the game track too much and can only be avoided with s or by guarding

@@gian2074 The No Roll for the Crazy Armor is pretty good. I recommend that fight at least.

Nope due to the instruction set being completely different, making assembly edits tedious

I double checked Xemu and it is a pain to setup the game plus the in-game framerate is very low. 60 fps only when there are no enemies in the room on a 3,9 GHz cpu is not great. Definitely not worth working on it in the current state, maybe in a couple years I'll look again!

The link still works for us, what does it tell you when you go there?

@@gian2074 nothing, it just stays on a loading screen that doesn't end

@@deivispacheco700 try getting it from the discord. The modding boards have this thing where they put redirections to links so that might be the issue

Yeah I can add that in 2.1.3. I'll have an option to swap between the zoomed out version (current one) and the zoomed in camera, which is what the vanilla game used

@@joandersonoliveira6802 the .ppf was not applied properly, make sure you are using ppf o matic and applying the .ppf patch to the USA version of the game. If you have any doubts, join the discord server!!

@@gian2074 i cant find the link for discord server. i realized that many things are wrong here. i used the ppf u linked here and the dragon crest spawned, but my HUD its the old version. i cant see the mp or the sinergy bar. also im not getting any money from the foes defeated. i only realized that once i met julia. im using a 2.1.2 exe tool to activate the mod. is that an old version?

Sometimes the .exe doesn't open at all. In that case it's necessary to download cheat engine, get the source file (.ct) in the discord and then execute the mod from cheat engine

@@gian2074 I just want to talk about Curse of Darkness. The game is WELL ahead of it's time.. I wish I could play it on my X BOX ONE. Curse of Darkness had dragon riding, weapons and armor forging and a form of pickpocket 6 years before Skyrim. It also had (cyclops and harpy riding before GOD OF WAR III. These things DEFINITELY deserve honorable mention. To my mind CASTLEVANIA Curse of Darkness is the greatest video game ever, bar none. Even Skyrim.
