How important is it to get onto an elite pathway team (pre-NAL, ECNL, ECRL, etc.) for a 10 year old boy if they have a desire to play professionally someday? Is it ok to stay on a regular club team until they are 12+?

Hello, my twins(BU12) play midfield left and right at club level and the higher academy east for LIJSL(Long Island Junior Soccer League). They play well and are super dedicated. What would you say they should be looking to do for next level? I'd like them to play college soccer.

She been part of the SoCal ODP team for the last two years and made the West Regional ODP team and just got back from Florida. Is the video absolutely. necessary to book a call with you. Great video and very helpful as I have a son with top academic scores. One thing you mentioned and I noted in many of your videos. Is the ever a scenario in which you would step down from a top league (ECNL, mls next) to another lesser league? for example limited player development, limited, appropriate positional play, lack of showcases, etc.
