I wouldn’t call the swords “reskins” each has a different sword master ability, forget what Alastor’s was, Sword of Sparda spun as scythe, and DSD made smaller demon swords

@@DentistGamer With all jokes aside, I actually treat Revelation 1 as part of the series but it's a special assignment. I only keep 7 Resident Evil games in my collection. First being 1 through 5 and RE5 ends the series. RE2 and RE3 are both technically one game as the events overlap each other. After RE3, the series doesn't really continue until RE5. Code Veronica is Claire's separate episode after RE3, RE4 is Leon's separate episode after Code Veronica, and Revelation is Jill's separate episode after RE4. Revelation 2 isn't horrible but it felt like an unnecessary cash grab.

@@DentistGamer Kind of, so we can technically say CV, RE4 and Revelation doesn't count, but I kind of look at it like this. If you compare it to the Marvel movies there are many, but if we were to cut to the chase, we could do with the 3 Marvel Avengers movies and skip the rest. However, in between all of the mainline movies, there are still many interesting character episodes, while some are substantially better than others. Which ones we choose to recognize and which ones we personally dismiss are all debatable and are made up of each of our own opinions.
