Buddy took me Out for a rip!
We went for a day of quadding, side by sides, and bad as* trucks. There were groups all over of people enjoying back country. These are such awesome community building events. I will be doing much more, and new camera is needed for sure, the speaker was breaking up from the noise .lol..deadly..

Would a mig welder work ?
Bro I love that I can tell how cold it is from the crunch of that snow.
This rules
I'm trying to weld a piece of the back of an automic transmission back on and a friend just gave me a 70 amp/115 volt stick welder. Been having mixed advice on if this will do the job. One guy said it would probably work if I used E4043 rods in 1/16" but unfortunately, 3/32" is the smallest I've found so far except for TIG rods. Any thoughts or advice is welcome.
Does it increase the mph ? Mine only does 65 top speed
I thought this was 2 B about a Toyota Hi ACE. WTF were ya workin on?
Total trailer park method. Don't do it.
I tried it on my 2001 Acura MDX. Fantastic result. I mean I was blown away at the results. Thank you my man. Wow!
I like the green color of it.. it's going to look cooler when its done
12:45 ... 😄 Great content. I've got an old Made in Canuckistan Honda that I need to get after that'll probably suck down muriatic acid like Moosehead. Thanks.
How has this held up to the Canadian elements? And what have you used for bare metal prep again?
Who cares. Who would go to Canada anyway.
that is a1947 just saying
1kz engine? What engine?

He's lucky I wish I had someone to teach me on my 56 wagon
You're definitely no daisy
butt&top and on top of that, that ones call a power clam. typical bc boy too, hardly ever find one in a bad mood.
lmao, thanks I corrected it
Just wondering if it would pull a 4200 pound trailer.
Good footage

Just found your channel Gord. Entertaining stuf
What power supply are you running on your unit?
hypotherm 85
Thanx for the gorgeous tour
These vehicles were very common after WW2.
Heads up for Alibre users. Their CAD does not support plasma. Doing my best to warn you all.
Hermano tengo una wuili de 1955 están interesados soy de Venezuela
Oh, yes! This has been my dream for over 50 years; a 4X4 Willys Wagon with the panel wagon verticle rear doors. PERFECT! And a SBC for power. Now, please keep it a manual transmission! What a nice build!
Nice truck. I have a 1997 diesel 3L toyota dyna 4x4. Partime dual shifters. Im thinking of doing a similar SAS but not sure i want to go your route with the Land cruiser axle. Can the hilux LN106 axle work?
Man I'm actually looking at getting one of these. Any pointers and tips for them? I love the lift you put on it. How's the availability of parts?
I was just thinking how cool this would be and you already built it! This has me grinning.
Good десең😅
metallicpaint is hard to spray just keep putting layers on then color sand it slick
would you wet sand out those runs first?
@@highaceoffroad2887 yes i would just because the runs will still show up under the next coats gently wet sand it with 600 grit and take your time you can save the paint job
Metallic Green.... wow, talk about stepping the bar man! Metallics are hard to spray, and green is probably the hardest color to spray. Good stuff man! stick with it and you will get it.
Yeah, now that I have sprayed it and know how little the first coat has to be, I am confident going forward. just have to fix these runs first, lol bugger! I wanted a color that stands out and I love old school metallics so I figured I would give it a try. I love the color in the sun.
@@highaceoffroad2887 you can change the shade and depth of "green" with under-coats as well. If you want it to brighter paint it yellow first, if you want it to be deeper paint it blue. That's why green is so hard to spray, because picks up what's under it more than any other color. It's almost like spraying "Candy"..... and Candy Apple Green...... WOW that's got to be the hardest of them all.... lol.
@@highaceoffroad2887 Seriously though.... for a 1st try, it's not that bad man. You know what you have to fix, and you GOT THIS Man! 4-5 light coats, let them tack, then your.... "Here we go" final wet coat.
A BC-ite are ya? I'm one province west of ya, cheers!
Oh yer in Berta? What part.
@@highaceoffroad2887 I'm just east of Edmonton, near a little place called Ardrossan!

great work brother ! keep it up !
Great job. But the American accent and terminology made me laugh. "She's cooking real good"😂😂
Too cool! 😃
Cool project!
That HF arc start could cause issues down the road. Most CNCs don't like HF pilot arcs as they cause the CPU to lock up
Yes, exactly, it worked the first couple times and then would act weird, and glitch out. I was told it is definately the HF.
@@highaceoffroad2887 I see you got a proper CNC plasma table now - did you sell this thing on?
Yes, I got a GoFabCnC for a great price and upgraded. I sold my Arcdroid to my neighbor so I can still use it if I really need it.
This is bad ass I want one
Frig!!!
As far as the lift, what have you done to get it to that point? It’s so sick!
Solid axle swap, it was a bit of a challenge and turned out a bit bigger than planned but I love it.
Mike YOUR A DING DING LOL
Bro do a video on your truck!
Definitely a just send it kinda guy ✅
That’s right behind my house 😮
Can you do this with an AC stick WELDER?
I don't think so but I could be wrong?
AC needs rectifier to make DC
don't use ac on this , unless you want real trouble !!!
Did you do an engine swap on the hiace?
No, just cleaned the injectors and after taking it apart about 6 times we got lucky and it sealed up..guess it was taking in air? Is my best guess. It just doesn't want to die..lol..
@@highaceoffroad2887 how’s the top speed on the highway? With those big tires?
Oh terrible, lol, I keep wanting to take it apart and regear it but I am always working in others stuff, did start a new winch bumper.. vids to come as we do more on it.
@@highaceoffroad2887 Instagram account?
Highace offroad on FB, and instant is offroadhighace I think... It is linked to FB so I forget..
It works! I have a lawn tractor that was only bubbling in 4 of the cells. Hit it with my Lincoln dc welder. When I shut it down one loud pop came from the cells. Put it on a 4 amp charger for a few hour. It is showing 13.5 volts. Working great.
Do you think this would work with an AC stick welder
@@AmirA-oe3ci No! You need DC
how do you get 440s to make an arc? I can't get those rods to do anything except fill my lungs with horrible fumes.
Practice, lol
I see you customized the Z axis breakaway torch holder . i had to do that also .
I found out in table settings you can set the time it takes to find the metal, it keeps resetting to 5 sec, I change it to 10 now as soon as I turn on my table, I left the torch where it was while I was learning it. It has been working great the way I have it set now so I keep it there.
