TOTAL PERFECTION NOTHING BACK THEN WAS LIKE THIS. KNOWN TO VERY FEW IN ATHENS GREECE WITH NO RADIO BROADCAST OR TELEVISION SHOWS...JUST WATCHED IT ON MTV. WE WERE GOING TO A SMALL RECORD STORE TO HEAR THIS , SLOWDIVE, MY BLOODY VALENTINE ..AND THERE WAS NO BAR OR CLUB TO PLAY SHOEGAZE BACK THEN. WE WERE GOING , WE WERE ORDERING AND WE WERE GETTING THE VINYL AFTER A MONTH OR MORE!!!! YOU WERE TELLING YOUR CLASSMATES IN HIGH SCHOOL ABOUT THIS BAND AND NOBODY CARED OR LIKED!!! Geniuses of this genre! I remember listening "Drive blind" from 120 minutes i think. what a way to convey pop sensibility. Vapout trail, Twisterella etc. They refined it to the heights unknown to rest of the indie crtowd.

Austin Osman Spare fue un pintor, escritor y practicante de varias corrientes ocultistas. Hijo de Philip Newton Spare, un policía de Londres, y Eliza Ann Adelaide Osman. De niño mostraba afinidad por el arte, y tempranamente comenzó clases nocturnas en la escuela de arte Lambeth Art School. A la edad de 13 años dejó la escuela para ejercer de aprendiz de un artesano del vitral. Durante su adolescencia su fascinación por el ocultismo creció mucho, en gran medida influenciado por el trabajo en el que participaba. En mayo de 1904 uno de sus dibujos fue expuesto en la exhibición anual del la Royal Academy en Londres, esto generó una gran publicidad para el joven artista.
