Crunkyy's Travels
Япония
Добавлен 30 июл 2010
Welcome to Crunkyy's Travels. I am an expat currently living in rural Japan. I am not a filmmaker or full RUclipsr by any means but I am using this platform as a way to document and showcase my travels. I specialize in POV video style as a way to let you "see thru my eyes". I have some plans but I will periodically poll viewers on what they want to see. If you have recommendations, let me know in comments of any video and I will consider. Currently, I am showing Thailand and Japan, and soon SE Asia. If you watch a video, I kindly ask you to comment as it helps me become better. Watch if you want, sub if you want, or don't watch. No pressure. Welcome to my channel.

Join me on a ride on the Japanese Shinkansen (high speed train). I will give you a POV look at the train and the interior of the Gran Class car. The comfort and luxury are well known if not offset by the relatively high price. So sit back and take a trip with me across the Japanese countryside in style. Thanks for sharing this it's the kind of things I find enjoyable n learning everything I can about other cultures. It would be interesting to Aoi San n Yoon teaching us these dances n some songs as well
Good luck getting them to teach. lol. Thx for watching
Very talented dancer and is there any Japanese translation dancers that you can show us
Japanese translation dancers? Please elaborate
@crunkyystravels101 Japanese traditional dance is what I meant
@@UncleFrank-zw5ys Japanese Traditional Dances here tend to be localized to large shrines or certain festivals. There are more near major cities, like near Tokyo or Kyoto area, but I am not close. I may have some footage from last year's Iwate Dancers Snow Festival. I will do some research and see what I can dig up. Thank you for the request and for watching.
Just to entertain the Royal Palace. That pole is very important part of the dance.
Thank you for watching and the info. I didnt have much context when filming this one so I am relying on viewers to update.
It’s called ZAW KYI dance
Thank you Yoon. I updated the description. Thx for watching. 🤩
❤❤❤
@@seinleinandar3537 thx for watching. LTNS

Cool video and how long of dance was it
@UncleFrank-zw5ys this one was 4 ish minutes. The whole performance was many dance performances and a few hours. I will post a few more soon. I only took video of a handful of performances as it was getting late and I had a long taxi ride back to my hotel. Thanks for watching.
Thanks for sharing Crunky your videos always help me learning about other cultures keep them coming

Nice dance and music Crunkyy
Thx for watching. I was in the front seating arrangement so right next to the speaker.
Thanks Crunkyy. Seasons Greetings and a Happy New Year to you. The dancers have improvised the traditional dance. Some moves there are their own.
Thanks for watching and noticing their movements. I was sitting with a former ESB host during this performance and I think she said something similar. Nice to know they had their moves well choreographed. Happy New year coming up to you too.
Wow
@@vlogbylily1158 happy you watched. I will post more soon
Thanks. You should also take a look at Myanmar Kinnari-kinnara dance, as it has historic costumed dancers. The ancient old traditional music is also being played. Thaing-Wine is name of orchestra.
Is that in Bangkok? If so, I will go back in April. Maybe I can check it out. If Myanmar, then that will have to wait, for obvious reasons. Thx for watching. I will post a few more of these in the coming days.
Their movements are so amazing. I really love to watch this our Burmese traditional dance❤🎉 Well done Crunky🎉
@@VlogbyPhoo very happy you like it. Can you do this dance? Thank you for watching my friend.
Thank you for sharing this video.

Love our traditional dance😍
I agree. It was amazing to see. I'm sure it's an art that takes a lifetime to master. I was happy to see it. Thanks for watching😁
Very beautiful dance it must take many years to learn it. Crunkky do you think we can get Aoi to do this dance for us....
@eddieschiaffo1385 I don't know about Aoi but I know Sein Lei Nandar (Green) can do this dance. Perhaps I should ask them both. 😂 Thanks for watching
Thanks for sharing Crunky it's always great to see and appreciate all the diversity from other cultures and countries 👍
Happy you enjoyed it. I really liked these dances and the videos can't do it full justice. The music was spectacular. I hope to post a few more of these.
Burmese traditional dance is very similar to Thai traditional dance and is that the original music they are dancing to
Yes. I did not modify the music in any way. This is the real deal.

Oh Snowwww
That's what you took from the video? The snow? Not the pretty lights? 😂 thanks for watching. 😁

Beautiful light show , well done. Thanks for letting us come with you.

Beautiful Video Crunkky. I did not know that there were many Christians who lived in Japan, but is nice to see Christmas is celebrated around the World...Well done Crunkky...
Hard to say but I dont think it is about Christianity in this case….as Japan really likes to borrow holidays found elsewhere. Glad you enjoyed it
🎉
🎉🎉
Thanks for sharing Crunky, I can never have enough Christmas it's my favorite time of year. Merry Christmas to you n your wife n family and friends
Im not a big fan of the season as I dont like cold and my family lives across the ocean, but it is good to be in the spirit. Happy you liked the video and that it could increase your enjoyment of your favorite time of the heat.
I only took the free one🤣
@@aoisansdiary7 ticket prices were about $40 SGD (25 baht). Worth seeing at least once
wow
😊❤ Thx for watching
it looks like its better in the day that at night
Easy to see everything. Worth visiting once at least. If I visit again, I'd like to try the lunch table car in the wheel.
Looks like you could ride it all day
One revolution takes about 30 minutes.
Steak steak 😻
@@vlogbylily1158 come here and try it😁
All the food looks delicious
Glad you liked it
So much to talk about, so what is the BGM? :O Love the music <3
Thx for watching. The BGM I use is from the editing program ClipChamp. It has I believe 400 selections to choose from. I just try to fit whatever fits the mood. I don't like having quiet videos as people lose interest fast. Thanks for noticing.
Cheese Roll🤤
@yoonsnotes8556 yes. You would become addicted. They are so good.
Nice - can't say I've had those cheese rolls before.
I hope you get the chance to try them sometime. These might be a local Aomori thing but I am not totally sure.
Thanks for sharing Crunky, all that food looked so good, which one is your favorite?
@0:12 thx for watching

Sorry. I missed this comment. The noodles are amazing. Shame these dishes are seasonal.
That looks so good. That is the type of thing I love
This was really good. A shame it's a limited menu item.
