i feel like something that contributes to all of this is Rec Room itself. It's been so lacking in new content as of recent that every other idea has already been done to oblivion. When a new RRO releases, we'll get content specificially about that RRO for the entire week and then everyone kinda just moves on already. The only types of videos that actually adapt and work with the game anymore are news videos (Sk0l) and MAYBE top 10s (Tara). Even RR critique videos have been done to death lmao. Every other RecTuber has either quit entirely or changed their content to include more general VR games, like SoulFox or Boe And by the way, I really like your editing style and sense of humor. keep it up :)

I'm still considered a new player, since I only started playing Rec Room within a one year span. That along with only starting to make RR vids at the beginning of the year, I'm still pretty new to the scene. But I have been seeing a lot of those "cookie cutter" vid formats and shitposts, and i can say that you're pretty valid on all the terrible content as of late. It sucks too when I've put in so much creativity and effort into this passion of mine.

Everything you said in this video I wholeheartedly agree with. I also feel like as a small creator, it's really hard to find your own unique style, so it is super easy to give in to whatever is trending at the time. I've definitely leaned into trends and brainrot editing at times, but I try to remain unique with all I do. I can say though, that I think you've found a unique, wonderful style of video that gets your point across in an informative but still humorous manner. Totally agree. RUclips in general has become a melting pot of people who don’t care about making videos. The algorithm has boosted so much garbage, and it blinds people from the passion that made them want to start RUclips in the first place. From someone who has fallen victim to this before. This is the reason I haven’t played rec room in months. Watching a community turn from a (2019) wholesome community filled with passionate content creators, to watching all the same creators get surpassed by shitposters and sub beggars. It’s sad but there not really much we can do to stop it.
