Super fun race benefiting the Clayton Roberts recovery fund. Checkers MC did a great job with the courses and even with the crazy wind, all the courses were well marked.

SoCal H&H Loop 2 Scouting 2024

This was scouting for loop 2 of our District 37 Hare and Hound for 2025. Of course GoPro doesn't do any justice to the difficulty and steepness of the canyon we were in. The 2024 Alien Dawg Run This is my first attempt at RUclips during a race so be patient LOL. I had a decent jump on the start but was not happy with my line choice. I should have prerun the other side of the bomb because it looked like the other side had a more straight shot to the flag. Anyway, enjoy the video

Yeah, I really like the video. I like how you can see your shadow when you’re riding. It’s the one thing that’s missing from a lot of the GoPro videos. You can’t see the rider at all so I thought that was pretty cool. I missed this race, but hopefully I’ll be out there at the RUTS next weekend 🏁👍🏻

Never done a HH. Second loop is supposed to be more difficult. How would you rate the terrain difficulty? i dont see anything too crazy on your ride. Other HH videos show some pretty extreme terrain in parts thanks for the ride
Depends on the club. The second loop on this was pretty mild but they can be pretty technical
